  1. Good video Stu. With regards to tourism, why not do a show looking at holiday rentals, like flats, houses and such on websites like idealista, fotocasa etc…
    Very expensive.

  2. I am going to go down in flames for this, but irregular immigrants or unregistered immigrants can be considered as wokeism terminology, but hey, they are both illegal.

  3. The protests on the street will probably impact on the type of tourists visiting Spain. The Spanish people will get the worst tourists, these who drunk and do not care what they do. They are not the richest part of the tourist flow. The middle class tourists with their families will be to conscious of the negative mood and avoid Spain. It is so misdirected anger.

  4. We've got corporate buyer issues here (US) reducing inventory levels and driving rentals up. I think median home costs in San Diego are north of $900,000 USD, or about $7,000 per month, plus a 1.25% annual property tax and home insurance. As retirees, we could not afford to buy our home today – I don't know how young people, young families are supposed to build their futures. Spain and Portugal look promising; maybe a smaller town (in one of those countries) that few tourists travel to – they'd just have to find work. Love these videos. Thank you Stuart!

  5. Africanisation of Spain and Europe. Irregular arrivals should be returned to point of original departure and apply through correct channels for immigration.

  6. I lived in Argentina for 2 years. Wonderful place. However Stu, you are right. It’s not the easiest and safest place to travel, especially when local economies are bad. The coastal areas are largely undeveloped and the sea is cold. You could go to Brazil, or Chile, yet it’s a reality that high crime rates there are a major concern. The other issue is that Latin American countries (bar Mexico) have less than European standards should things go wrong for you, even worse if you don’t speak the language. I do hope the whole of Latin America gets its act together because it is a truly incredible, with so much heart.

  7. Spanish Costa real estate is the cheapest in the world. Price point is what spain has to offer. 250k EU is dirt cheap for any property with 500m from the beaches. Expect those prices to go up at least 50%. And spanish middle class will not be able to afford it likewise an American in Miami Beach.

  8. England has loads of mobility scooters as a lot of older people have health issues and can not walk long distances so unfair to say it an explosion of mobility scooters as they need it to get around and remember you all get old some day or have health issues

  9. Curious about the mobility scooters or electric bicycles. Who can say how far anyone has or would like to travel? As long as accidents aren’t happening, in which case fines and arrest can happen. Strange, is the proliferation of pev’s a subjective opinion? Every youtube video i’ve ever seen of spanish cities, i’d be surprised to see 5 pev’s moving about. I could wrong, but pev’s doesn’t seem ubiquitous.

  10. Hi stu and guests. Perhaps closing the bars at midnight is unrealistic. But perhaps hiring part-time police to work the late night hours is a way to provide jobs for the locals. Fine and remove tourists that aren’t behaving themselves. Set up security cameras to verify the responsible parties which also validates the fines incurred.

  11. Probably in Benidorm the streets are flat and the pedestrianzone isn't 40cm high and croocked as in many villages of Spain. Scooters and wheelchairs are impossible in most of the places in Spain.

  12. Northeners are buying property in Spain but Spaniards are not buying in the North? Wait for it – climate change will turn that around as well – probably sooner than later…….
    🖖travel long and prosper🖖

  13. The Spanish government doesn't use the money they make from tourism to help the communities that help make it, and the locals blame the tourists. Crazy!

  14. Forget Pedro Sanchez wife, look no further than your local Ajuntament, if you're a member of family who works in the Ajuntament you can get anything you want done, just so corrupt.

  15. South America for sure has thrilling destinations. I know the region up and down as I used to be assigned to the region with different jobs. Still, the convenience and safety of Spain for Europeans is unbeatable. Even as a native Spanish speaker I wouldn't be interested in retiring in Mexico or South America. Spain is blessed and I am already settled in anyway.
