  1. No matter who the new England manager is, he needs to get Ben White in as the first choice right back if he wants to unleash Saka's full potential in every England's international fixtures. Only Ben knows how Saka plays week in week out, they are a better partnership than with Kyle Walker and they would form a consistent deadly attack on the right hand side like they have made at Arsenal. If it's to materialize then the new England manager can think next of someone to fit in the Odegaard profile/role to complete the Saka, Odegaard and White triangle on the right hand side.

  2. I talk about the money situation on my channel Charles, but the average fan in my opinion from the feeback that I get doesn’t care about money management and FFP. we saw how badly Raul Sanlli and Dick Law managed the books as well as Ivan Gazidas, and they didn’t have a clue.

  3. Agreed, Southgate wasted opportunity to sub in club attacking systems. white/saka. Stones/Cole. Grealish/foden. Bellingham and Kane cut off in games and club training.

  4. Hey Charles. Haven't heard much about Norton Cuffy recently. He missed the pre season start with the u21 and seems to move on for his career. Will we be able to generate some fee similar to Biereth from Cuffy?

  5. Charles, respectfully, talking about only getting £100m for Tavares, Lokonga, Reiss, Emile, Eddie and Ramsdale is exactly what people mean when they talk about you undervaluing our players. ESR £40m, Lokonga/Tavares £20m combined, Eddie £30m , Reiss £20m and Ramsdale £30m. Total £140m and not unreasonably prices.

  6. Hi Charles, Now for a fact that Nico Williams is signing for barca … The market for top quality wingers are less aswell as strikers . Should we look at a Sane or Neto both could be available for around 50m ? And also would you take Gundogan who is rumoured to be seeking a move away from barca

  7. Whenever I catch one of your shows, I'm reminded of why I don't make it one of my regular top content to watch.
What's this rubbish about last season not being a successful one? Second in the league by two points, 28 goodly mornings out of the 38 match weeks, record number of goals scored, et cetera …
And comparing Arteta's arsenal to Southgate's England? England play a poor system that don't suit the players at hand. Arteta has built a team capable of playing attractive, winning football.
Get a grip, a rational perspective. Ffs

  8. Mikel Merino is a squad rotation player to strengthen the team. Nothing more and nothing less. If he kicks on and contributes great but no one expects him to light up the field.

  9. Think its pretty simple by the board. Players are up for sale but arsenal will use them to try ramp up the price but also focus on maximum points. And i think thats the best way, in theory get these clubs paying up and gwt better quality in, bur players like esr i would try use as much as possible while we can

  10. Greeting from Chicago. What if the mystery German player is Sane? If we don’t manage to get Nico Williams, Sane could be an option. He has PL experience, knows Arteta, and could be a sub for Saka. Only downside would be his previous injuries but as we seen against us, he seems to just float down the field and has excellent ball control. We know how Arteta respects veteran players like Xhaka, Jorginho, Trossard and Partey. Also could Timber be a Partey replacement? Could that be why on the outside there doesn’t seem to be any rush to sell Partey?

  11. Q how can Manchester utd recieve 26 million plus 20 % resale clause from marseille for Greenwood who's conduct is questionable yet we are struggling to get 30 plus million for a quality prem proven player in Smith Rowe.

  12. James is being harsh on Fulham they finished some 20+ points above relegation zone! Hardly "somehow" surviving. They can finish midtable again next season that's their level nothing rubbish about that. Palninha a huge gap though. But their front players like munoz pereira reid etc will give them points

  13. There’s no realistic price where it would be worth selling Saliba *at this time*.

Even if £150M came in, the club would have to reinvest that money flawlessly. I don’t think the market exists for us to put that money towards any players that would make it worth it.

Too risky, too hard to predict how it would throw off the system. Eye watering money but not for our future best ever defender.

  14. Hi Charles,

I've not seen much of Mikel Merino…. but after watching some highlights, the ex-Arsenal player he immediately reminded me of… was Edu Gaspar himself.

Seen a few Xhaka comparisons, but although he was hardly ever injured… Xhaka wasn't very athletic or really a dribbler (Merino seems to be).

Maybe time we have another left-footed CM wearing 17…

  15. Fulham wasn't trash last year. That is a bit of over exaggeration. It would immediately make an impact there. Crystal Palace, especially if players like Eze stay, would be a fun team to watch with ESR.

  16. On the england chat. A lot of people have said “let’s go get klopp”, but from klopp’s perspective, what’s the appeal of managing England? As Jamie carragher said, top managers manage in the champions league and England aren’t France, Spain or Brazil, there’s no track record of winning things. Is it just the honour of managing Phil Foden or kobbie mainoo every two years?

  17. The England manager being English is really important. However, the most important factor is competency, and there hasn't been an English manager worthy of managing the England team for many, many years.

  18. I'm sorry, Mr. Benge, there's no way Fulham is getting relegated. Do you watch football at all? Wow! Fulham is a solid side, with a very good coach. I'm surprised to hear this from you.

  19. you earn way more money from league positions than winning any cups, thats why teams concentrate so much on league, if they rise the prize money and tv money on the cups the teams woyuld try harder
