The Miss Pokuase 2024 beauty pageant, which aims to empower and celebrate young women, has been launched at the Pokuase chief’s palace in Accra.

 The organisers, Ottobi Entertainment, announced that the finals would take place on Friday, August 16.

In attendance were members of the Pokuase Youth Association, the current Miss Pokuase, Evelyn Naa Norkor Agyemang, and the event’s chairperson, Nii Ofei Nkwantabisa, who is also the Pokuase Dzaasetse.

The Lead Coordinator and Concepts and Implementation Manager at Ottobi Entertainment, Miss Cynthia Ama Deka, shared her outfit’s vision for this year’s pageant.

“We aim to bring light to the people of Pokuase and make a significant impact on the youth, especially the young ladies in our community.

“Miss Pokuase 2024 is not just a pageant, it’s a platform for empowerment, growth and positive change,” Miss Deka said.

She mentioned that the grand winner of Miss Pokuase 2024 would receive a total prize package worth GHS 30,000, the second-place winner will take home GHS 15,000, and the third-place winner will be awarded GHS 10,000.

“These prizes are intended to support the winners in their personal and professional growth, providing them with resources to support their ambitions,” she said.
