  1. I can relate, yaani when it's raining you wake up and sit somewhere in the corner wait until the rain is over aahhh life,….but At least now we're better hata kama sio vile ningependelea I still thank God for this far,…such an inspiring story

  2. My father died in 2009 , Mum had to raise the four of us, life was not easy, sometimes we could feed on fry tomatoes and ugali for a whole week. All in all i completed my studies well. In 2017 the government announce to the public that regime is in need of young educated elites to join the army and in God's will iwas drafted to the army force

  4. I can identify with his story, when in class 6-8,our house used to rain inside, we could use an umbrella to prevent the fire from going off, I'd squeeze myself at a corner where it wasn't raining just to study.. After class 8, no money for high school, I become a house help in Nairobi at the age of 13…terrible experience……

  6. I am proud of you Abwao!
Your humility, self discipline, your contribution in leadership and responsible citizenship are your key strengths that will indeed see you to greater heights in this life. It is not lost to me that you made it your personal responsibility (during every trip) to help your fellow students in the choir who were physically challenged – helping them into and out of the Academy bus, as the school choir made it all the way to the national music festivals.
And your expertise in playing the trombone in the school band are some but a few of the things that come to my mind as I listen to you.
    May God bless you abundantly!
