  1. Hey brother… It’s been a minute!!

    Oh, this brings back memories. Although, I sure don’t miss the Horn of Africa as much as I miss AFG. I just like the French supermarkets in the city and the bars and the very interesting people who come there… I had long hair when I was there so the women at the bar would pull my hair to check if it’s real as they can’t grow it that long.

    BTW, did yea meet the Gypsy General on the way to Chabelley AF? I thought that he was a very interesting person to sit by the side of the road and have a casual chat with… He was kind enough to pose for a photograph with me. He had a fine collection of lapel pins on his “uniform”.
