The greens help with cleansing the pallet.
The fish special Zuckerberg goes better with ugali, the chapati probably ruins the taste.
P.S. How do I get one of those Stay Dangerous T-shirts?
I live in Atlanta, Georgia and I do alata Africa studies. I promote the Continent but mostly on my Facebook page. I watch all your videos and am a subscriber and I love them all, especially the one when you were in downtown Nairobi, Kenya with the fellas, the good foods and the live, colorful buses! I like the way ya'll end the videos by saying Shalom, but ya'll spend most of ya'll time in East Africa and they speak Swahili there, not Hebrew. I could be wrong, but Shalom is a Jewish or Hebrew word. This is only a personal, personal and personal opinion, but it's like you leave Africa hanging saying that. I would be thrilled if you said a Swahili word that means the same thing . . . Amani. And I'm sure, that being mostly in East Africa, you know at least a little bit of Swahili. (And Zulu in South Africa). Anyway, keep up the goodness. Amani ndani. Amani nje. (Peace in. Peace out.) L
Enjoying traditional food , beautiful change keep you connected to our first image .
Why call yourself African America? Do we have European American ?…Don't make yourself inferior to the whites. America was a native land for the Red Indians and not for the whites.
Imma Alkaline Vegan, but the way Brotha was enjoyin' the fish got me thinkin' 😂
Some crazy ancestor decided to enjoy bitter leaves, now we can't get weaned off them 😂
That food tastes better eaten without folks and spoons! Now I am starving here in Minnesota! Take me home, please!
next time y
ou want to mask the bitter taste just put the veges in the soup and you'll like the taste better
Well done… you're doing it like us brother… digging it so well… congratulations 😂
Hey, you don't eat fish with chapati you eat with ugali. you eat chapati with grains or beef.
omg nooo who gave u chapati and fish? chapati goes with beans or meat stew or a curry
You eat fish with your fingers
It's actually not bitter, it's just different from your lane, but I get that.
Not everything is good for you is slathered in cornstarch and cornsyrap. Speaking from an American perspective here.
appreciate you eating with your fingers instead of using cutlery. respect
Ugali keeps you good sleep and recovery
❤🇿🇦
It is 8:30am having a coffee watching this video made me hungry🙌🏼
You need to do this on Lake Victoria.
Now you are getting closer to Kenya EA.
1:20 (Sukuma Wiki) Kale
Can taste bitter but again this is an acquired taste!
Has a whole bunch of health benefits being a crusiferous vegetable. Good for those suffering from insulin resistance/fatty liver as Sikuma Wiki is rich in Colin
Karibu Kenya
You are welcome to camp here for the rest of your lives…hit me up when you are back…the motherland ✊🏿🌍🖤
🤣..she took one bite of a tomatoe peice and said its really good. Gotta dog in my sista. Big bite it all. 😁😉 sukuma wiki and the ugali looked good. And the fish. But the ugali we make it better in uganda. Called posho. 😁😉
Omgoodness! You went to mama Olieche's eating place? I have not been there for years and years. I am surprised it still exists. Wow! Dope. That is a local eat out. Nice. I hope you enjoyed yourselves. Don't forget to treat yourselves to 5 star restaurants too and spend some money and ice cream places as well. Enjoy
The bitter greens could be managu or saghet leaves. Those are the common bitter leaves we cook in Kenya.
Fish is best eaten with ugali, not chapati
You should have ordered sides of mitoo and kunde. Not managu
It is eaten with the hands, not cutlery
This makes me miss home. Kenyan food is the best
Eating ugali like a real Kenyan 👍🏽
