  1. How are products/companies supposed to get better if you aren’t allowed to talk about what’s wrong with them? How are you supposed to improve when you have no idea what to improve on??

  2. Another point would be if he outright said it was good, people then would buy it be upset at his review and take him down for "being a shill". a reviewer needs to cover everything so the viewer can know what they are getting into.

  3. the real litmus test is… criticize Big Pharma over certain injectables, and see who sh*ts a brick and starts double fisting the billionaire meat. its funny, because maybe the critics are wrong, but the feral response from the meat riders is telling

  4. I thought negative reviews have always been controversial because people would get attacked for hating The Last Jedi but not as brutally for liking it.

  5. I think games having early access is a good thing, just look at BG3, for years the game was full priced and early access with the promise that you'd get the full game for no additional charges if you paid for the early access. The game was barely playable for a while, the devs listened to feedback for years, and we got one of the best games to release in our lifetimes.

The thing there though is the devs were actively listening and iterating, that should be the fucking point of early access, to specifically review it in it's unfinished state so the devs can get a feel for what the players want to see and how they best improve on what they have as they continue to work on it. Larian WANTED people to review the early access game, if everyone who bought it just stayed silent "cause it'll get better" then it wouldn't have gotten anywhere near as much better as it did!

But also yeah, if the devs are infact using early access properly I don't think you should be shitting on them just for doing it. Players should be aware of what paying for early access means (it's unfinished and you're basically there to help direct the devs) and the devs should be willing and able to act on the realistic/honest reviews from those players. If either of those is untrue then yeah, it's a sham, but don't just automatically dismiss it out of hand, remember that BG3 had a full priced early access for years.

  6. Everything negative seems to be a problem these days, it does not matter what you negatively review.
You criticize a game, that is review bombing, you criticize an Idea or opinion, now that is hate speech, you criticize a movie, how dare you, you bigot, that is racist, sexist etc.

  7. There is two types of negative reviews. One type are idiots who do not understand how to do reviews and make bad takes. While the other one being a good negative review that goes all guts and glory on a product/show. I think that is common sense people need to understand nowadays. Negative reviews do not kill anything, companies or sales do hell there have been amazing Great and highly reviewed games that have sold poorly it just happens.

  8. "buy it cause its gonna get better" is the epitome of what the AAA game industry is. Cyberpunk, No Man Sky, Escape From Tarkov, "pay us we promise we are making it better" why not just release a complete product? Answer, they don't have the money to make it, so they fleece us to get more time. Nothing is "done" in modern gaming except some rare and unique indie games, people will line up for their slop call of duty and the next fromsoft roll simulator.

  9. Wait, the "console wars" isn't ironic?
I've always hated on Xbox for the memes. I didn't realize people actually took that crap seriously; it's just a console ffs. Lol

  10. at least when its an early access game you get the updates
imagine if you buy some lil beta gadget and later down the line they completely change the parts up
don't expect those fuckers to just mail you the new one lol

  11. You need to pay for product testing. People don't pay you for product testing.
I emphasize to a degree, everyone needs a start, but they're just jumping over entire stages in a rush to get out the door.

  12. A one star review got me booted out of my apartment so I kinda know about how controversial negative reviews can be. It's interesting how the reviews are controversial but not the actions that spur the review being left in the first place.

  13. Imagine if Haribo never got any negative reviews for their Sugar Free Gummy Bears. They are now a discontinued product due to negative reviews… and for good reason. For anyone that doesn't know, Haribo Sugar Free Gold Bears was found to cause severe digestive distress to just about anyone that consumed more than just a few of them. The reviews are a good read, and I highly recommend looking them up. Negative reviews help companies more than positive reviews IMO.

  14. what do you expect from people paying for blue check marks to their lord and savior elon musk that glorify all his stupid ideas and don't question it twice. These people clearly don't care if a products/ideas are good or well thought trough or not. If the company behind it has a lot of cash and make empty unreasonable promises then they will take a bullet for them and their company and let even more money sink into the company pocket again without questioning it. no wonder that the shitshow what X is, is the home of lunatics, fanatics and people that don't think quite right or not much.

  15. Why do we now worship the rich so much? And are losers that want to argue over EVERYTHING? This argumenting are just narcissist's mating calls to each other. Ignore them.
