  1. I dont think Pesario should stay in the job. Defensive play can only take you so far. Eventually, you will be caught out. Besides, Nigeria should look within coaches and stop hiring foreign coaches.

  2. As a Nigerian, the Nigerian coach did a wonderful job. However, Nigeria is an attacking country so its not a long term solution. Its like asking Brazil to defend, something just doesn't feel right. We need a coach who takes risks

  3. Really disappointed to see what happened in Asian Cup and AFCON. Bigger teams with a good stars fell apart like Japan, South Korea, Senegal, and Morocco. The hosts won the whole thing, despite of heavy struggles (Ivory Coast) and referee corruption (Qatar).

  4. I’m a Nigerian but I’m happy for Ivory Coast too much boasting and insulting on social media by Nigerians acting as if they already won. Humbling is nice.

  5. As an AFCON champion, Nigeria made the mistake of not playing with 2 strikers. Ivory Coast always have a solid midfield, Nigeria just have attackers

  6. AFCON deserves more respect from the rest of the world – epically hosted and incredible entertainment! Well done to the hosts and the likes of South Africa!!! Euros won't come close to this.

  7. From South Africa we give Ivory Coast a very big congratulations from doing an excellent job of winning a 2023 Afcon cup, the continent of Africa is very proud of them. 🇮🇪🇿🇦🎊🎉✌️
