Chipsi mayai, which is french fries(“chips” if you’re British for some reason) and eggs put together into an omelette, and nyama choma, marinated meat skewers, are among the best street foods in the world. One day in Zanzibar, I decided I would introduce these delicacies to the world.

I’m so proud of you lol. Not many people would do what you’re doing, especially eating in the areas that don’t necessarily look rich.
Not sure if anyone noticed – the newspaper in which they wrapped your food to go is a Gujarati newspaper. Gujarat is a state in India. Do you know if Gujarati newspaper publication is so common and easily available or it was just a chance?
How does you stomach resist like eating salad in Africa ? I've been in Africa too, OK that was 35 years ago but fresh food , juice etc. was a big no no unless you had a huge amount of time to spend at the toilet for the next days. Our Euro stomachs would just not resis the bugs people are used to in Africa.
