  1. As long as it’s not involved black magic such as animal sacrifices, concoctions of blood and carcass drinks, recitations of unknown incantations etc because these rituals invoke/manifest devilish forces /energy which will destroy a person in a long term, albeit there may seem instant positive results!
The calling for spirits of ancestors for healing is one types of sinful shirk, ascribing partners in worships with God!
We should only call on God for healing and curing of our illnesses (both mentally and physically) not to call on the spirits of anything, for only Him is All power, All Knowing, who gives lives and deaths!

  2. Islamic Societies also have had traditional healers, spiritual healing and it can be holistic.
Meeting of the people and exchanging informations of their issues is a relief in an informal set up.
Meditation, food, spiritual needs are discussed. Recitation of Quran with a specific reference to healing is observed…..Also self forgiveness is emphasised to release the soul from the burden of darkness, depends on the nature of mental distress.
God's forgiveness is invoked to get rid of negative feelings in the presence of an expert religious teacher, but one has to be careful of scams too. Some con person can take advantage of exploitation.
In other words, a genuine spiritual person can play a positive role in holistic healing.

  3. As a psychologist myself I meditate daily, I spend time in nature every day and I know the value of community. Traditional Therapy can complement modern Therapy, without turning to superstition of course. But spirituality Is very important

  4. South africa is one of the most corrupt poor neglected countries on the planet, the conditions there are worse than some third world countries

  5. I can do Zulu bone reading. Took a class from a priestess and I have these really powerful bones that were blessed by a Zulu priest. The connection to ancestors is highlighted, its really powerful. Traditional healing is making a comeback because we're thirsty for who we belong to.

  6. This discourse is faulty.Have you ever thought of the amount of african DNA present in Europeans.
Do you know that mankind originated in Africa.
It would be great if you studied some genetics to fully comprehend the concept of race which is a social construct without any base in biological sciences.
The mixing wasn't through love but rape, paediophilia and slavery.
