These are judges and legalists, professionals who are fastidious in their choice of wording and semantic interpretations. If there were indeed a genocide taking place, a phraseology involving words like STOP or CEASE or even DESIST would have been the option. Many have wryly pointed out that the whole point of what Israel has been doing in response to 7 October is to prevent a genocide, and getting the OK from the ICJ is belated and irrelevant! After all, Yahya Sinwar and other motley Hamas top dog terrorists are on record as officially declaring that the genocide of all Jews between the Jordan and the Mediterranean Sea is their wet dream. They left a token of their earnest in the orgy of murders, rapes, beheadings and necrophilia on 7 October. Since then, Israel has merely set out to PREVENT a sequel of that from occurring.
