I love Mali, especially the capital Bamako
I've been to Bamako, Mali in 2012-13. I really missed it! Really loved BKO vibes, Malian people are always welcoming and friendly. I left Mali speaking fluent bambara than French 😂 I'll have to visit there again, not sure if my bambara is still good

As an African born in the UK but lived in Ghana during part of my early years, there is NOTHING like being at home. I miss it just watching this video
From Ghana and Mali is somewhere I want to visit. Djenne, Segou and Timbuktu are top of my list. Was in Senegal last year and was really impressed
I look as white as can be but somewhere along the way I have a Mali ancestor, 3% showed up in my DNA, not entirely a surprise as my great grandmother talked to my mom about it. I would have loved to have seen my grandfather possibly my two times great grandfather.

I remember when I went there last summer every time I went in the car to go somewhere I was holding on for dear life because the roads are so bumpy.I had a good time there tho.
