  2. Regarding Inheritance Law, male heirs receive a larger portion as they must support support their children & wives, and pay the dowry. Women are exempt in this regard.

Don't be fooled by the propaganda.

  3. Well I hate this but what is in the video is something and reality something else Tunisia 🇹🇳 poor country so the young people they risk their lives to foods their family's and the government hiding this from the media

  4. Jewish Tunisians belong to Tunisia like all other Tunisians. They are not to be confused with the political problems today. That would be a very big mistake. I’d even go so far as to say. Bring our Jewish Tunisians back from Israel. Political Zionism has exploited them too. It militarized them and made them believe that they had to live in fear and defend themselves from a falsely created enemy.
If you are Tunisian, what do you think about this idea of return of the Tunisian Jews? Do you think it’s too unrealistic or do you think it could be a solution to the geopolitical and humanitarian mess created by the west which not only causes unnecessary suffering for the Palestinians but also puts descendants of Tunisian Jews under constant manipulation leading to fear and the belief in unavoidable violence. I think it would be a compassionate move and naturally the west (countries who committed the holocaust) should have to pay for it.

  5. It dosent get Mediterranean more than Syria the birth place of olives figs wine alphabet music having oldest cultures and cities in the world! But you decide to ignore Syria and focus on remnants of Syrian province like lebanon and new non Mediterranean settlers like Israel

  6. These people are European settlers their ancestors have stolen this from Africans. Let's be realistic, Tunisia is in the continent of Africa where the original civilization first started😢

  7. Today you see many non muslim community are converting to the Islam, some of these people they can't stop their tears when they listen the Quran without understanding the meaning. In contrary you see some Arab people whose are saying we are muslim but make an affort to spread bad news about the holy Quran.

  8. An entire country of predominantly conservative Muslims, and the first person they interview is a fringe individual who violates widespread cultural taboos. The second is a short haired lesbian who is trying to redress standard orthodoxy. Anyone who is smart can see right through this and read into this European agenda. I hope somebody goes and makes a documentary about Germany and they interview a neo-Nazi skinhead who wants to re-interpret the SS and a fundamentalist Salafi Turk.

  9. I was born and raised in Tunis, the capital. I have never heard or used the word "bacha" 😂, please, you are in Tunis not Cairo. It seems that you are a little bit confused. And, of course, Tunisia was COLONIZED by France. It is a COLONY not a protectorate. This is another confusion from the very first seconds of the documentary.

  10. As always great documentary DW.
I once hosted a Tunisian girl on (Couchsurfing) and she told me some cool stories about her country.
