His-story
Let's make up "our" story. Because making stuff up is fun.
Wrong. Asians were the first to use the term cowboy. The khan would bring Mongolian wrestlers and have them wrestle cattle’s and donkeys. Coining the term cowboy for whoever could wrestle a cow the fastest. This is all made up, like what this dude is saying.
Typical Narcissist
There were no such thing as soft men and woman in tht time. No matter ur race everyone was forged in fire against mother nature and man. Much respect to all. Hollywood is the great deceiver
I’m lost. Somet😮isn’t adding up

Actually most were just called hands. Yes Cowboy was initially a low level job, rucking out the stables and such.

He ain't lying
Thank you. We were the west . And the fact white men took a derogatory term and appropriated it to elevate themselves is funny
More made up nonsense, did you guys know the first European settlers in America were also black, and Vikings were black, and 100 years after aliens visit people like this will tell us they were black too
In reality though it was all races in their purest form back then.. just cowboys being cowboys. Lotta black ones, lotta native ones and a lotta Caucasian ones too. Shit even all of those races mixed together. I’d almost guarantee they didn’t really put up with as much bullshit as we deal with today. They were all just hardworking people trying to make a living.
As a Black woman, who’s roots are in Texas from great grandparents, grandparents and parents. Born in the 1800”s, and my parents were born in 1920 and 1923, Mt Van Peebles is accurate! I’m a descendent of Native American. Caucasian and Black. We were cowboys bonafide. History tells us this. We don’t need credit from anyone but God! Cowboys came in all ethnicities ❤
