Upcoming ICJ order unlikely to change ‘anything on the ground’: Analysis

Israel is unlikely to comply with a potential ICJ order to end its Rafah offensive as long as it maintains the backing of its biggest ally, the US, says Mohamad Elmasry of the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies.
“Israel has shown for the past several months that it doesn’t care so much what international law says,” Elmasry told Al…

  1. Absolutely unlikely.. Only the dreamers who watch this channel have hope.. No power on earth will stop them, if think differently, please show me which one is standing up to stop them?

  2. Ignoring or not upholding ANY type of law I dont care who you are or what title or position you hold, you giving space for others to follow your footsteps, than we get into a situation where safety is at danger as theres no limit or anything or anyone holding us back as we can all breach the law with no consequences.. very very worrying indeed..

  3. I voted for Biden last time but not this time. His support of Israel shows he is willing to break the Leahy Law and allow the extermination of Palestinians and destruction of Gaza at the taxpayers expense. To me Biden appears to be owned by rich donors, indifferent to Palestinians and stupid to throw an election for Israel. I’m in my 70s, a Pennsylvanian and long time Democrat. Third party candidate for me.

  4. Why bring people on with no idea about American politics?

Biden is running against Trump, Trump and the GOP are extremely pro Israel.

If Biden loses Palestine will be far worse off.

You should pray that Biden wins reelection.

  5. IS£A€L have been murdering Palestinians for the past 75, years and the world

remained silent so naturally they thought that killing everyone in Gaza would

    also go unnoticed

  6. Agree, the ICJ added measures are welcomed but will do little to change the reality of horrors for the Palestinian people. We are dealing with amoral psychopaths – such entities do not listen, they do not care and will do whatever they want. They are incorrigible – nothing is going to stop them. Not words, not sanctions, not waiting for the US, not waiting for the deceptive “voluntary” displacement using the built pier, not waiting for the civil war in Israel to start/finish!
The ICC M§t immediately impris$ Netanyahu Gallant, the UN – police order. All international efforts unified

  7. I have just watched the ICJ rulings, and this reporting here sums up what I know to be truthful, and I don't dare tell my American friends. Ireland recognizes a Palestinian state.

  8. Well it's clear you want Biden to lose. You have that right. However I make you this promise. If Biden loses and we have to suffer another 4 years of Donald Trump. I promise before your God ….that 4 years will be more painful for the Palestinians. Their suffering will achieve legendary status. Things can always be worse. Because if we have to live with Trump, then it's only right that the Palestinians live with Netanyahu. If Netanyahu allows them to live it all.

  9. You simple minded people are easily distracted. You have but two concerns which all else depends on, 1. Ceasefire, there will be none. 2. Rebuild, not until a stable government is established. Your future is not bright.
