Muito obrigada a receita e espetacular ooo nhamonhamo❤
The stake is a bit overdone.
Should have a line of red in the middle (medium)
Around 30s, for that thickness of stake should be fine.
Still.. it's always nice to see food from my country beeing appreciated, you should take a chance on a Francesinha 😀
Yes its very good
We also love prego in South Africa. However it has slightly evolved. We like to include some bird's eye peppers on the meat, and then also add a mild peri-peri sauce.
I will take this over a burger any time!
In South Africa the focus is on the peri peri sauce – every place that makes prego will have its own peri peri recipe and it is the consistent factor that distinguishes a good and a great prego.
There is one great seafood restaurant in Lisboa which I forget the name, which they then serve prego as dessert 🤤
I'm glad I found your channel…
Great stuff. Ya, I put the bayleaf in the pan when I'm cooking the steak. I also use a bit of paprika as well 🤤
Nicely done!
Yum
What kind of meat do u use please

Aqui no Brasil chamamos isso de "Bauru".
Super good sandwich to take on Madeira Levada walk.
Good video, but not 100% correct! Preferably you need to marinade the steak for a couple of hours. Once the steaks are removed from the pan you need to reduce the sauce left in the pan with some of the marinade, which will make a gravy. The bread gets dunked into the gravy before placing the fired steaks in the roll. Per-peri is optional.

So this is different then Bifana?
The South African version has changed a bit with more of a focus on spices – particularly peri-peri. I have even known some people to marinate or cook the meat with white wine as well as the other flavourings.
Just subscribed liked this is very traditional, well done I’ll be doing my version on my channel soon 👍🏽
Obrigado Michael 😉 had this in Lisbon and was looking for an idea how to copy. Will try it your style tomorrow. looks great 👍
Thank you Michael, great video as always…these are on the menu for tomorrow.
