Also like, if that’s the bass line that the song has in it then that is what you play! As a bass clarinet player I would always get shafted with these boring scores just whole notes and half notes when playing in an ensemble even though I am a very talented clarinet player and can play much more complimenting than that BUT the ARRANGEMENT only required boring chord bases which is sadly the plight of bass instruments.
