Off Road into the Heart of the Yorkshire Dales (Road Trip Part 3)

After a pub breakfast, followed by a coffee and cake, I head off-road, deep into the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, before spending the night in the heart of the 1000 year old market town of Richmond, Yorkshire.

  1. Did the Dales Cycleway on my Brompton last summer (while I living in the UK) and truly enjoyed it, although it was quite tough on a small bike with camping gear. It was on that trip that I actually decided to get my first motorbike after being passed by so many. Now got a Duke 125 and moved back to Portugal, next week going on a 1000km trip, looking forward to it. Small bike, but coming from a Brompton it will be plenty enough. Thanks for the video!

  2. What a light on the horizon this young man is, every ride is probably simply the best you could experience. The little places to stay are undoubtedly as splendid as you would ever find for yoĂŒr buck and of course, his trade mark in his own words, the next coffee is without a shadow of a doubt going to be the best ever.
Plus the bikes…… why isn't the rest of the world like this…. best of luck, fine young man.

  3. Only recently discovered you on youtube ( found you through the Rocket 3 vids, i'm a Rocket owner ) and loving the vids so far, i noticed in this one there was one place where the road was a bit flooded, must be a bit heart stopping after the Bonneville experience.

  4. Freddie, just to let you know you are not technically "off-road" because a BOAT is a road that is legal to ride on provided you and your bike are legal! It is simply an un-metalled road. Great video though!

  5. It really is a pity this bike doesn't come with cruise control, purely for Honda to push buyers to the more expensive (and taller, heavier, bulkier) Africa Twin. What a shame.
