Problem is the high schools. They no longer offer vocational education and training so that in addition to the degree they can find job to work. Example: friend got a degree in biology minor medical technology. Worked as a lab technician in a hospital while she studied for the board exam ( difficult) once she passed she was hired as a medical technologist with MUCH higher pay. She said it WAS NOT EASY BUT GLAD she DID IT WHEN she WAS YOUNG!
