San Francisco apologizes to Black community for racism

San Francisco’s supervisors have formally apologized to the city’s African Americans and their descendants for perpetuating racism and discrimination. Supervisors also say reparations are coming. The apology was the first act that won approval from a list of 100 recommended proposals from a city committee.
