This is a mistake. Africans, this is how we create dictators. Too much power given to one person only leads to abuse of power.

The Burkinabe are not only 'UPRIGHT MEN AND WOMEN', but they are also among the most intelligent Africans.
Like their leader, they understand perfectly that the duty of African men and women in positions of state authority include, to protect the lives and defend the freedom of the people whom they rule, as well as to feed the people, grow the economy and culture, and bring dignity to all peoples who identify as ‘African ancestry’.
People are not as stupid as some suppose. They know what is good for them. Serve them well, and they will protect the government that serves them. This is what we see in the Burkinabe.
They see that President Traore has the right humanity, the right morality, the right strength and mettle of steel, the right temperament, and the right approach.
He is clear that cowardly playing with one’s enemies just leads to greater danger. Rather, a serious leader, like himself, must dig in, secure the country, produce food, grow the economy, and fight his enemies.
Democracy could wait while the next young generation in Africa rises.
