  2. Bhola: At least 30 villages have been flooded after the dam collapsed due to Cyclone Rimal. Besides, a woman named Maneja Khatun (50) died in the storm.

    The accident happened around 5:30 am on Monday (May 27). The deceased Maneja Lalmohan is a resident of West Charumed Ward No. 7.

    Bhola District Commissioner Arifuzzaman confirmed this information and said that assistance will be given to the family of the deceased.

    Meanwhile, 20/25 mud houses have been destroyed in different areas of the district due to the storm. At least 30 villages have been flooded due to the collapse of the dam.
