  1. Both, hes right but it was doomed from the start cos the sequel trilogy were unplanned and rushed. BUT all of his suggestions are stellar. He is totally correct imho.

  2. Sounds great. It’s hard to pick aspects of the movie I even enjoyed, so all of that sounds good to me. The whole movie should have been held back a year, gone with the original Colin Treverrow script and Stevie Kicks should have played Leia’s part.

  3. DOOMED FROM THE START??? they didn't even plan where to go in the first place… they just sailed the star wars boat to nowhere without charting directions so they sank…

  4. The sequels could have been so much better if just the rise of Skywalker was better. While far from perfect I don’t think the force awakens and the last Jedi are that bad. They actually felt like they are the same story, while the rise of Skywalker feels more like a soft reboot than a continuation of the previous story.

  5. Kathleen Kennedy set out to deliberately destroy Luke in particular. It's been leaked that she had a poster of him with a big red X" over his face to keep her focused. The series was doomed from the start.

  6. I appreciate knowing this but it’s been several years already. Move on. It doesn’t help we get clips still bashing a dead movie.

  7. Look, TROS wasn’t awful, it was ok, but I admit that it didn’t work as an end to a saga. I feel like they just tried to capitalise on how well Endgame did and tried to replicate it. I think it would have been better if they stuck with the Collin Trevaro Duel of the Fates script because it would have been able to flesh out the newer characters more, finally end arcs for the older characters and end the saga how it should have ended with an actually menacing side of the first order where Kylo can really show that he’s irredeemable, and not with the return of Palpatine that wasn’t hinted towards at all.

  8. I agree with the things John Boyega suggested, however, I also think that the character of Rey needed to be better developed, and made less of a Mary-Sue than she turned out to be.
Overall, the problems with the sequel trilogy were too numerous to count.

  9. I agree with john entierly his idea about a stormtrooper rebellion after the massacre of that villager it would not only be something really cool to see but also a way to understand that the stormtroopers had good people too, it makes sence that after many traumatic experiences in battle soldiers eventually bond to go against those sending them to massacre civilians like we saw in the movie.

  10. If tlj was about rey training with luke while fin starts a stormtrooper rebellion with both storylines coalescing into a massive fleet/planetary battle where the first order must retreat and then snoke takes them to exegol (spelling?) where he collapses into the lifeless puppet he is and then palpatine reveals himself as the one who was pulling the strings all along, that would have been really good. Then there would have already been a coherent setup for the final order, and a lot of the rushed setup in tros could have been replaced with actual story. Also replace the death star destroyers with imperial 3 or some new star destroyer, sans superlaser, and give us the eclipse ssd for the final battle to give us a more logical super weapon.
