When Diana Buttu objects to what she sees as Karim Kahn’s supposed “two-sideism”, she mirrors the pro-Israel reaction that objects that Kahn is drawing a supposed “moral equivalence” between the two sides. The only difference is which side is seen as occupying the moral high ground.
I’m a big fan of Mehdi and Owen, and have heard them repeatedly acknowledge that war crimes were committed on Oct 7. So I presume they support Kahn’s soliciting charges against the Hamas individuals as well as Israelis. If this is true, I’m disappointed that they didn’t push back on Diana here.
