  2. You are so good at describing the dishes you eat! You could be a food critic for any newspaper. I grew up in New Orleans and know what good food tastes like, but I could not describe it the way you do. You've got me wanting to go to all of these restaurants. It would be helpful if you noted the price of the meals. I saw one video that stated the prices are seriously going up. Making Croatia one of the more expensive places in Europe to visit. What are your thoughts?

  4. A lot of them compare Croatian and Italian cuisine, but they are by no means the same, of course, it is a Mediterranean way of preparation, but Italians use more spices like oregano, basil, while Croatian cuisine is milder and has a much fresher and natural taste.

  5. Figs? Nope….it's dried plums. I do not know any recipe with figs and meat combined in traditional Dalmatian cuisine. Figs are usually eaten fresh or dried or we make jam from them. But most people eat them fresh when in season… usually just put them in fridge until really cold.
