TP is in awesome condition and the greens are top notch. Pros are so good today…. that I"d like to see pro tournaments make the courses more difficult. More rough around greens and maybe more difficult pin placements, etc. Birdies are the new norm. Just my opinion.
Yu shot 8 under par 64 and was on top of the leader board, but the whole highlight only showed 2 putts of his…come on PGA, I know Yu isn't as well known and popular as the other guys, but at least give the man his props for shooting 64 and leading the field 🤦♂ we all got to start somewhere right?
These highlights could be so much better, just add some context! Get someone to do a voiceover on the highlights and tell us things like what’s the average proximity on the shot we’re watching, what does that mean for that players round, how difficult is that shot like with the wind, yardage etc. Player hits ball, ball lands close to hole is boring without context! Are the best scores all from one course? How different are the courses playing? Was there any weather change during the day that may have benefitted early/late starters? Tell us a story. I don’t care about the shots that went close, like someone in the comments here said, follow a player for all 3 shots on an eagled par 5, and tell us how good that was vs the field! This could actually be interesting and even exciting. Like for rd 2 highlights follow some of the cut like guys and let us know what the consequences might be re major qualification or signature events. Anyway, that’s my rant!
Absolutely shocking and disgraceful biased coverage showing only American golfers. Lowry with a -5 and not a single shot showed. Horrible coverage of a golf tournament.

These guys make it so gracious to watch how they flush 99.9 %of their shots it’s just not fair how they make it look so easy I guess that’s why they’re pros
Was this a 3-hole course? Lots of average shots from players on +3 but Lowry and Rai not worthy of a single shot with their 66s.
Bradley was having a bad day until picking up 3 shots on the last 3 holes on the south course. +1 on the south is not out of this. Morikawa looks really good for the next 3 rounds on the south course, he could well get back ahead of Cantlay on the south. Finau and Homa well placed after good rounds on the south. List solid tee to green as expected here at Torrey.
Shane Lowry shot 6 under with 9 birdies and you didn't show one shot? Very poor highlights.

Maybe an unpopular opinion but I would like to see all 3 shots when a player makes an eagle on a par 5.
