  1. Something is definitely wrong with with us nigerians….and africans as a whole !! How is this possible in our days? We shd stop blaming the white man for our woes and take a hard look at ourselves in the mirror !!

  2. KEEP TELLING EVERYONE GOR YEARS THAT ALL OF AFRICA IS CORRUPTED THE LEADERS DONT CARE ABOUT THE POOR WHO WORKED ALL THEIR LIVES TO RETIRE WITH A PENSION BUT AFTER ALL THOSE YEARS OF WORKING THEY HAVE TO PAY OUT PART OF THEIR OWN MONEY TO COROPT OFFICERS WHO WORKS FOR THE GOVERNMENT WHILE THE POOR MAN WHO WORKED ALL HIS LIFE GOES HUNGRY AND THE WHOLE OF AFRICA SLAGGING OTHER COUNTRIES WHILE THE WHOLE OF THEIR GOVERNMENT IS LEAVEING IN LUXERY HOW DISHUTING

  3. The result of corruption police corrupted everything is corrupt state employees ask money to do their work.
In Maroc they ask me 10€ for give me my papers of my marriage without paying no papers is disgusting.

  4. This is pure wickedness, and it's in many African countries too. God is watching, and those stealing these old people money will account for it to God once they die and leave this earth. May all them thieves never prosper from stealing and abusing these old people. Sickening to see and hear this wickedness.

  5. People who have sworn true faith and allegiance to serve the people are now using their positions to oppress the very people they are to serve. There is a leadership paralysis on this continent and once that is fixed, we can have, at least, a semblance of decent living in own country.

  6. This is what is happening in kenya ….politicians get their pensions immediately they leave the office but the elderly it can take more than three to give months to get there pensions and still get taxed by there local leaders…we are treat fellow human beings like dogs

  7. I am not surprised about anything that happens in Nigeria ,especially stealing money. I belive this is one reason my ancestors were sold into slavery for greed, they have no conscious of people suffering just don't care. This is one country that needs a outside developed country to handle their governments finances. I will never understand why the government is allowed to steal so much in Nigeria.

  8. Would you believe it if I told you that this country (Nigeria) is one of the largest oil producers in the world? It should be one of the wealthiest countries in the world. Resources are nothing without political willpower. Politics is nothing without a unified and well informed public.

  9. That's the problem with defined benefit structures. They are unsustainable do not reflect the flow of investments in the country. The corruption and centralization of schemes makes things worse. Nigerias retirement system needs a complete overhaul.

  10. My father is a victim, He was a teacher in a School under Kaduna State Government, He served the state for over 37 years, as I'm typing right now he wasn't paid upto now and it's getting to 4 years after his retirement, he was requested several times to pay BRIBE but he refused that's why his pension gratuity is held upto today, that's what we are going through in Nigeria.

  11. Nigeria, lets share this tears together. We have only one Judge who is the Judge of all judges. His name is JESUS. Whoever is proving to be strong enough to pity the elderly and give them their rightful belonging will never defeat JESUS. I pray for strength and hope for you our elders. And to those in service, I know you have watched this video and got demoralized to work. But kindly, serve your fellow citizens/people. In doing so, you are serving God.
My heartfelt message to you all from UGANDA.
    LOVE YOU

  12. We have two levels of pension – civil service pension not paid into and national pension – which is. Delays in civil pension is because records of service need to be complete and there are usually gaps in that take time to resolve. Even so there were moves recently to at least pay a minimum amount while the paperwork is being resolved for gratuity and full pension amount. The paid pension system has as its main problem – poor record keeping. I recently requested a printout that would give the number of weeks worked per year and number of years. Imagine my dismay to see that even though I worked in the same office for five years, that their records had less weeks for some years and full weeks for others. Now it is also a problem that private companies deduct money from employees but do not remit it. But since I was in a government office and there are all sorts of countersigning that is done monthly as regular payroll processing it is unlikely that the government ministry did not remit. Now to be fair, they are trying to get themselves in order and computerising – hence my ability to get a printout. And I was able to submit tax and other records so they could fix their gaps in information. But this honestly sounds like there is just no internal records keeping in place. Hence bribing people to find non-existent records is what all this sounds like to me. We need to know what their process is – go a little deeper.

  13. God help you Nigeria pensioners. This story leaves one's heart in shreds. You have demons as leaders. They are the ones who are evil spirits back from hell. They will not enjoy their evil and bloody money for long. They will die horrible and painful deaths. All that they have subjected others to, will certainly befall them and their children to the fourth generation. That's a promise. All that ill wealth they think they have will weather away as they watch one by one and they will end up feeding through pipes and develop bed sores for lack of someone to change their pampers or turn them. True demons 😈 walking among people.
