  1. Crazy how people in the comments are saying they are wrong lol . How you come here wanting to know if Nigerians were here before slavery & they tell you they & you disagree with the very people who were kidnapped . Crazy I tell you

  2. So no they never were america till after Not before but After far After. This is a more Nigerian pride centric claim which is universal for all nationalist people. That means this video is interviewing a sham national rant (no offense).

  3. I am Brazilian and I read once, when some Europeans arrived in Brazil, they saw black people living in Brazil, and they weren't Indians.
Also some ancient skulls were found with sub-saharan features.

  4. Unfortunately, this is not true. But, its the level of understanding of some of our folks.

Also, NO ONE speaks Yoruba language in Cuba nor Brazil, unless they are recent Yoruba immigrants. What they use in Orisa practices in Cuba, Brazil, and Trinidad and Tobago are remnants of Yoruba language which is no longer a vernacular for them and which are used solely for liturgical contexts. The Yoruba language generations ago stopped being a vernacular among descendents of Yoruba people brought to the Americas during the transatlantic slave trade.

  5. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0OKnNfB5fcY Now this Search For Uhuru guy is on a bs tour. believe what this Nigerian guy tells you without researching and you will be selling your soul. There was no country called Nigeria before the slave trade, so where is his proof. I would have believed it if he had said there were Africans already on the American continent before slave trade. Historians have proven that and not Nigerians. You need to stop the bs before it gets out of hand, you are allowing yourself to be fooled by some of these Africans with bogus facts. Nigerians should be more interested in this more https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0OKnNfB5fcY

  6. We went over this before lol😀 According to DNA research from African black and European geneticist scientist by the time people got to the Americas they were Asiatic mutations and were no longer African primary haplogroups.

The indigenous Native Americans did not speak and indigenous African languages. The transatlantic slave trade is what brought the recent African Nigerian people languages to Brazil.

    mark.

  7. In.the past the walking distancs from africa to south amerika was short because of the fact that the landmasses were closer to each other ….the olmecs also were a melinated tribe that ruled in south amerika….bless

  8. Every culture has their myths. legends, and Oral History.

The start of the Slave trades, in the whole of the Americas (first to the Caribbean and Brazil) started in 1514. A full century before the first English settlement slave trade (1619).

So if they are only aware of the slave Trade beginning in 1619, then to them, any time before that counts as Migration.

The first documented slave ships, to be leaving with Enslaved Africans, from the bight of Benin, to the Latin Americas, was in 1532.

Before that, there were some African Explorers, alongside the Spanish, who co-explored this land. I’ll see if I can find well vetted evidence, toward this.

  9. Yoruba have no presence in Cuba and Brazil prior to slave trade. What do these men know about Cuba and Brazil? Or world history or even Slave trade. It is better to not speak on what one is no expert on..they are experts of yoruba traditional religion that's it not history.

  10. I don't care if some of us were here before white people . It's not ours and it will never be. You can tell white people we were here before them all you want, they don't give af. They look at you like, "And, what you gonna do now nigga". "Go entertain me with your music and sports"

  11. common sense tells us that the africans on the west coast could not be able to cross the atlantic ocean and reach the americas coastal lines. if they could do so then they would simply have been able to resist arabislam and judeo-greco-christian invasions and slavery.

  12. Maybe it's true. We do know that Mansa Abubakari ii of the Mali empire sailed west around 1300 AD. Perhaps those around what is present day Nigeria sailed west too as the Kingdom of Benin was very advanced. Perhaps they sailed west also.

  13. Why we believe the moors and Egyptians where black but not the native Americans? look at king at the Olmec heads the last Aztec couple the Inca emperors look at the face reconstruction luzia look at Hawaiian king kamehameha 1 look at papa nu guinea look at Fijans look at at the batek people in Malaysia look at the negritoes in philippines look at the the adaman island native tribes look at the Guyana bush men I’m sure there’s more our there you think they all came from Africa? maybe but this proves that blacks where in the Americas before Columbus yes africans did come but not the number they love to exaggerate Benjamin Franklin himself said we don’t want to increase the black sons of America

  14. It says that in the bible. Then The vatican sanctioned slavery and the conquest of the so called new world. They had maps and came with interpreters. To conquer and enslave the children of god.

  15. A lot of our Spanish words we speak in Cuba are a blended with Yoruba words. Example: Tumbao or Mofungo. The more I learn about my Cuban side, the more I learn about Nigeria.

And Dynasty thank you for clearing up the African migration before the slave trade. I'm tired of hearing blacks discrediting Africa as there indigenous origins. Appreciate you.

  16. It's not beyond the realm of feasibility that Africans would've been able to travel from Africa to areas of Latin America because the Atlantic ocean currents move westward. There are specific ocean currents like the north equatorial current and the south equatorial current that lead straight to Brazil from the Nigeria/Cameroon area. Dr. Ivan Van Sertima has documented in "They Came Before Columbus" that Columbus wrote in his diary that native Indians told him they'd been trading with Africans before Columbus got there.

  17. You see the difference between the reality and the so called aboriginal bullshit. The keyword is migration. Here in amerikka negro say they are indigenous or native American. If you read the sorry of kansa musa the big brother of mansa musa it stated that he went to the Americas and traded there
