  1. This is an excellent opportunity for you guys. You might feel a temporary pinch in finances. But! When you make the American dollars…….. going back home or being able to invest more back home you will reap the benefits of your labor. Wishing you all the best. I myself want to buy property in rural S.A. near the beach.

  2. Wow Gal, welcome back to the usa and congratulations to you and your hubby. Why didn't you tell me you were coming? I'm like 4 hrs drive away. Hopefully we can meet soon. My daughter has moved to Maryland and we will be visiting her soon, maybe we can sink up. All the best of luck to you and your family. Reach out if you need anything.

  3. DC area is extremely expensive. I suggest that to purchase household items go to Big Lots or Bragin Hunt. For your Funiture you should lease or rent. It may be difficult to sell when you no longer need them.

  4. DC is a pricey place. And it’s much more dangerous than it looks. I suggest becoming familiar with our subway system. When it comes to shopping and living in way that saves, it’s easy and hard — depends where you go. I live on a budget that allows me fly to South Africa quarterly. Choose wisely on where you shop. Everything is cheaper in Virginia…

  5. Enjoy your new venture, but I would brought some of the small stuff from eMzansi to cut costs. I know maybe you thought of the baggage. But I love how you and your hubby are doing things together

  6. Enjoy your stay. America is very expensive. SA is way, way cheaper. I love the stores in SA; clothing and furniture stores. The quality of the clothes are much better in SA. Your malls are dope. Stay safe.
