  1. The big problem with this political class is that they are like they never understand the constitution or they are ignorants.

    Constitution clear states everything.
    1. President and his Deputy was Voted for by Kenyans. The two got obligations to what they feel is right for Kenyans.
That's why they appoint CS and PS and Boards who they feel will deliver their obligations properly under different sectors. They appoints the people who they trust.
Then later, continue with Programmes and projects.

    2. Legislators represents Constituencies. No MP was voted to be in opposition or in Government. People elected them to do the oversight of Executives starting with the president. Oversight is to ensure The president through his team, is delivering what he promised. They do that through various committees. No MP should oppose the Executive, they only have to do the oversight. Accountability on behalf of constituencies. To do oversight doesn't mean to Oppose.

For president to perform, he/she must change policies that will make things achievable for him/her. Legislators need to dialogue/discuss as a team, to give their inputs. They DONT have to oppose the Policies change, but to give inputs. So that it works even better for the President.

Legislators need to Represent issues of Constituents which are beyond CDF… and as a team, through various committees, they verify the needs. Then submit to President for considerations as an accounting officer number 1.

That's what the legislatures need to carry out.

With Executive working as a team, for the sake of people who elected them, With Parliament working as a team to ensure the accountability/legislation/representation and Judiciary also working as a team for purpose of prosecutions, I think Kenya will achieve much.

But since all these political class are failures and selfish, they won't let things work right. With all that English the four legislatures keep on lying about constitution on a National media. Very sad.

  6. The notion that the problem in parliament is a weak opposition is as credible as the notion that you can fuel fire using water. Geez I'm starting to believe Kenyan MPs are really brain dead. Also people who have been given a mandate to oppose, what country does this MP live in, because it is not in Kenya

  7. Kenyan should know that we have an ambiguous situations in both houses of representatives . We are in a situation whereby opposition is very weak to make checks and balances and to ensure that the administration follows due process of law especially when passing bills. Secondly we have the government which is self-centred not interested in serving the citizens with due respect they deserve not ready in developing this nation in terms of industrialization and trade except for their personal gains..

  8. To be sincere, the majority of farmers earn more than salaried kenyans. They should pay taxes as well. Govt shouldn't fear of losing votes, but should do the right, and have body everybody pay tax
