  1. I think I get it, it's sorta like the opening theme from Star Wars. It's like this fanfare that captures your attention just from the first few sounds. Here it used the language of the Sarudkar, which is something we never heard, to catch the attention which gives a better focus on the film. Never actually thought on it before

  2. I always imagine that it’s a spacing guild navigator saying it because they are the ones who 1. Have prescient powers as shown by the voice in the first scene and 2. Really on the spice so heavily

  3. I like how they both serve as themes for their respective movies. Especially in the case of Dune: Part Two. “He who controls spice, controls the universe.”

  4. The Bene Gesserit are able to control people by simply speaking with The Voice. This sounds silly until you realise that Dune made everyone shut up and pay attention with that intro.

  5. I knew, when i heard the opening, that it was gonna be legendary. So much of this movie is based on sound and how it makes you feel. The pure sound based intro was perfect to set the stage for what was about to come. I still get goosebumps when i hear it, even after atleast 10 views 😂
