  1. Rarely do I see a concept car go to full production. Besides, the legacy automobile manufacturers have yet to have a car that is in full production. Thus far, only BYD and Tesla have full production BEVs; that means they manufacture or have sold over 200,000 units per year. If you check back within two years the EVs you saw in the video will still be "concept vehicles".

  2. Don’t believe anything that comes out of CCP Chinese regime data!
    The CCP lies! Hello Covid!
They also profit from forced human organ harvesting! Wake up Chinaline Daily! 💉🩸🇨🇳

  3. Apart from Tesla, there’s a lot of marketing fluff here however the trend is undeniable and anyone thinking ICE vehicles aren’t heading for extinction sooner rather than later…..

  4. Government mandates are ridiculous. People and manufacturers should be able to build and buy what they like, providing they are efficient low emissions vehicles.

  5. Tesla 3 doesnt look any different than the "old" one. Still blah styling with kermit the frog face. Selling the same old car year after year will eventually tire people out

  6. We are watching the death of the American auto industry…. Stellantis is letting Chrysler and Dodge die a slow death…Ford no longer makes cars , it couldn't compete. From recalls to piss poor design( the dual clutch ) they destroyed their credibility. GM has sold so much of itself to Saic dropped most of its cars…sure they are Zombie companies relying on commercial and truck suv sales . Everyone makes SUVs. And once China and Japan get serious about Full size trucks the new UAW contracts will kill them in competition.
But wait we can put up more tariffs …. and they will raise prices like the greedy bastards they are …and all the jobs go down the tube. If you don't believe me look at Great Britain's auto industry.
While the age of autos on the road keep climbing , what happens when the working class can no longer afford to get to work . We are seeing this now.
How to fix this? . A new company or government segment to build a cheap entry level auto . Four seat 1 liter engine. With a target price of 15,000 to 18,000 yes it could be done. In volume . Shared components. Flat glass, if you want them clean use lpg . Just please don't use a cvt that grenades like a nissan . You could even make a brat style use, and a small suv based off them . Make them reliable build brand loyalty use graphics and paint and aftermarket support to build love for them . Don't reinvent the horse. Just just make an American Kei car

  7. The Chinese make the same failures as the US, the Germans, Koreans, everyone. So sad.

Completely useless and expensive solutions for problems that do not exist in a package that will never become a real product.

Only Tesla delivers – and is able to deliver – what they promise. Sometimes late. But then they do.

  8. The Kia PBV's look awesome. The ability to spin in place is cool. Sad to see Honda is resorting to bogus concept cars which have zero chance of being built. We have seen Detroit do this for over 50 years, and 99% of the time, they come out with something ordinary. The last concept that went to reality was the Porsche Boxster, which hit about 95% follow through from the concept car. I think car firms should be spanked hard if the concept doesn't come to fruition, but even worse is what Barra did at GM, which was not put the Escala into production, when the concept was perfectly designed, and very practical. That should have been the Cadillac that revitalized the brand. Instead Cadillac is a non luxurious brand, with very little flair.

  9. Yet another face-lift rather than a new model from Tesla, I'm sure Tesla enthusiasts will be thrilled. But will it attract new customers in the face of continued new and innovative models from other manufacturers, I think not.

  10. Honda's SPACE-HUB looks like a tardigrade cross-pollinated with a 1990 Pontiac Trans Sport. I like both of those things. (-*-)()()()().

  11. The lease on the 2024 Model 3 is $329, provided you have the down money, which is $4500, but considering the purchase price still starts around $38,000 that is impressive. They have lost some of the government EV buying credits for consumers, but it is amazing how many people do not or did not realize those programs were out there. Tesla has not confirmed production cost savings on the new Model 3, but I suspect that is there. Battery prices have been coming down which helps.

If someone is considering buying or leasing, it seems like EV tech is evolving quickly, so leasing makes more sense in most cases. Three years from now there will be so many more great choices.

  12. Honda got distracted with hydrogen push in Japan and I think they have still have not truly figured out their EV plans. Partnering with GM, partnering with Sony, and announcing the Zero EV line, it just does not feel like they have their roadmap figured out. I have high admiration for a company that does everything from lawnmowers to small private passenger jets. Honda has good engineering credit and if their management truly gives the design and engineering departments full funding and support for EVs, I think they could become a solid EV player just as they have been a solid ICE company. I would probably cut for their F1 and other racing efforts and focus those resources on getting their EV programs where they need to be.

  13. Self driving semi, hmm, I will believe it when it gets into customer hands. Doing the testing Texas probably helps protect them from as much legal liability as they would in place like California. I do think self driving semi trucks are going to be important to have. Happy to see another company pushing the tech forward. Just feel like the Kodiak story was released to get investors more than it truly having something getting close to be ready for customers to buy and use.

  14. That Honda EV? Never gonna happen. The companies that are so far back in development of a particular segment, will always come with a farfetched futuristic design, that never sees light of day.
