Life in the UK 🇬🇧 can be hard for anyone, and it can be harder when you are a migrant, more so an African migrant. I share my story in the hopes that something POSITIVE will come out of my sharing my story.

  1. Hi sis .I hope you are owk. I have heard most Africans that are in Europe talking about this but you really have painted a clear picture for me now.
I believe you are the only person who can bring change for yourself and pray all goes well.❤

  2. I touched on this too. The UK sucks!!! It's so lonely and you feel stuck. We are not staying!!!
When we have enough money, we'll leave. Living to pay pays is NOT it.
To be honest, I think you need to leave too. You can get a remote job and work anywhere in the world. Sadé is doing that (I think she follows both of us) and she flys with 2 children!
I really do feel your pain 😔

  3. The UK is depressing for most of us after Christmas, dark days and bad weather. There is a reason why there was always a festival in mid winter/winter solstice even before Christian times. I think you can see why quite a lot of Brits head off for some sunshine in the winter too. Look up Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) – it is quite common.
As for being dissatisfied with your career and career choices, I think that is something we all consider. Few get to work in their dream jobs and have the career they want, I certainly haven't. I hope you feel better soon.

  4. Thank you for watching my story. Being a migrant has been an eye-opening and life changing experience for me. What are your takes on depression in migrant communities, and how can they overcome it?
