I am Indian, emigrated to SAfrica. But very much Indian too as was born an Indian citizen in Ethiopia, raised in Zambia and did my last 2 yrs of school and first degree in India. My parents moved to South Africa so joined them in 1990.
So, SA citizen, OCI to India and very much Indian too. Love both countries. Just got back from India 5 days back.
I am South African Indian. Living in Kwa Zulu Natal. But unfortunately we are completely forgotten. The economic boost mentioned from PM Modi is not felt by us. We have to work twice has hard for everything. The places built during Apartheid are now state owned, schools, universities and hospitals seldomly employee indians. The contribution made by Indian freedom fighters has been forgotten.
