Eating You Alive – Diet, Health and Wellness Documentary
Nearly 30.4 million people die each year from chronic diseases and $3.8 trillion is spent in healthcare costs in the U.S. alone for treating what the CDC defines as “among most common, costly and preventable of all health problems.” Tackling one of the greatest health catastrophes of our time, this powerful film reveals how what we eat…

Beef consumption is the biggest global warming problem over all transportation combined? Gtfo
Geezus what a pile of shit much of this show is.
Plant based BS. Started right off with Ornish lying about the environment and cattle methane. That’s all TRUE BS. Cattle are less than 2% of the problem. The medical and agricultural industries are bigger problems.
No talk of glyphosate on plants, grains and legumes.
BS about cholesterol levels. No good information on true saturated fats and crappy omega 6 loaded oils and substitutes.
American dairy is 98% a joke.
Campbell, Furman, Eddelstyn and Barnard all been fabricating BS lies for years about plant based and protein needs.
Geezus .. knuckleheads comparing plant eating ruminating animals to people diets. We have completely different digestive systems. Our closest digestive like animal is not chimps, gorillas or bonobos but the DOG.
Sorry I find the medical fear mongering too much … halfway in this pack of BS is too much for me.
What a crock.
Many of the selected animal videos are so obviously selected to make farmers look bad that they truly damage the credibility of the video. Yes, they actually do kill animals to make food for people but showing someone abusing a milk cow is ridiculous. Most farmers would be incensed at that kind of treatment of their livestock. Foolish to include clips like that.
Why is this stupid video recommended to me. Carnivore diet for almost two years and is helping me a lot. Sorry not sorry.
The problem with the video is that it pushes the plant based nutrition. Plant based, meat based, or other restrictive diets are all bad as they cut out food that are healthy and with great benefits to healthy lifestyle.
Tried to cut out processed food :/ then on the third day at dinner I was forced to eat a highly processed, high sodium, flavored rice from packets that take 1min to make. I took note I eat twice as more as I would have if I didn’t eat that processed junk. I can’t escape my parents think I’m insane and just don’t understand me. I want to lose weight, acne, improve memory, and overall feel better but I don’t know if I’ll be able to do it with my parents literally against me 😢
Why no nuts?
I have removed all processed food from diet and red meat for sometime now, it has helped me in weight loss and I no longer take blood pressure medication or cholesterol medication. This documentary has inspired me to move even further to an even more healthy lifestyle. Thank you so very much!
Omg that lady with the kidney disorder is amazing and absolutely beautiful ❤
I can’t watch animal cruelty. Sorry.
I watched this years ago. Coming back to it, I'm now vegan (predominantly WFPB) and have been almost 5 years. Losing my husband at 57, just over 6 years ago, was a big wake up call for me.
After looking into this through various other means. I thought this was very powerful. A great documentary that really should be ok mainstream TV at least twice a year.
The food industry is corrupt to the extreme, the pharmaceutical industry is the same. People need to wake up. Food is poisoning us.
EVIL FOOD SUPPLY channel has a video called "vegetables are a scam"…..
I believe EVERY single word of it.
Things like spinach and broccoli are pure poison. That stuff taste like dog shit FOR A REASON.
Mother nature does not take what you need to survive and make it taste like aspirin.
Eat whole foods. Problem solved.
80% of people born in 1935 are still alive….. I wonder why that is!!!
Just eat whatever people were eating 100 years ago.
Not hard, boys and girls.
….. And no – there is no such thing as clogged arteries 😂😂😂 from fat. Thats not not what your body does with fat… It doesn't find its way into your veins….. Understand?
Good.
What ….in the…. actual…fuck???
When they have included olive oil and coconut oil with seed oils and have said that they clog arteries, I have switched off this "documentary".
Buenas tardes. Es posible tener el documental en español. Vivo en Colombia
alright, i'll do it, but i'm going to finish the left over pizza i have in the fridge.
I was planted based for 13 years, fully following a whole food diet- nothing fake or processed. No one told me I needed to keep track of my iron or my b12 and 18 months ago I almost died with my ferritin at 6, iron at 10, b vitamins in the low 200s. I was on the verge of having a stroke or heart attack with heart palpitations, anxiety, constant headaches, and basically just feeling like death. I clawed my way back to health with aggressive iron and b vitamin supplements, adding k to my diet and starting to eat organic meat. Please keep track of your iron and b vitamins if you choose this lifestyle.
not everyone will benefit from this information thank God some of us will.
What you know about collage?
High Cholesterol levels are caused by high consumption of processed foods (simple carbs)
Eat real food mostly organic and avoid eating processed foods that are🤮 poisoning 🤢 us
Change you mind,
Change you diet,
Change your health!
Processed food🤮 poisoning 🤢
Not food it's FLESH!!!!!!
It's not ment for human consumption
I began a 44 day bone broth fast as a gift to myself in my new country. While planning for this fast I made a playlist to watch to keep me focused. This was one of them. After my fast I plan to incorporate the 80/20 lifestyle. It’s easier and more affordable for me to eat healthy outside the US. 🙏🏽
The fair life commercials though. 😒
i am not going to cut out meat, or dairy. moderation. that said, processed food has to go. i love berries, some veggies. when i want a soda or ice cream, i can eat berries to my hearts delight. no fast food. no soda. no added sugars or fats. no processed food.
its not that hard to do. i have a sweet tooth – but its nothing that a bowl of blueberries cant fix. very tasty. no chemicals.
I lost brain cells listening to this… Saying coconut oil causes health issues made me want to vomit. That's false information and can cause more issues. Humans are designed to eat like omnivores. Not entirely plant based. Using animals that eat plants as an excuse that we should only eat plants is also false. Look at polar bears for example, they eat only fat and meat, and they have no heart issues. I mean if we want to get scientific here, the Koala Bear is the only true herbivore. Sugar is the only enemy here and these guys are cooks for lying. Do your own research and the diet that fits best for you. Eliminating all meat is dangerous and the elimination of fat is dangerous.

Wow!! This is so informative! I made a huge transition about 3 years ago. Before I was constantly exhausted & in pain. PMS felt like I was losing my mind & period pain felt like I was being killed! 😱 I was very overweight & done with the crash diets.
Now I have more energy & Endurance than ever. Not in constant pain anymore. PMS vanished & period pain decreased significantly. As a bonus I dropped 53 lbs without dieting. I feel like I have my life back now. ❤ So Thankful for good people like you are out there spreading this message of hope!
lol meat and animal products aren’t bad for you. Processed sugars, seed oils are what’s bad for you
So many ads
I know a former dairy farmer who won’t touch dairy because of what he saw while working. He’s in his 90s and won’t even tell me what he saw. He gets emotional just thinking about it.
An outstanding documentary.
Eat more meat and cut out sugars
Cut out processed food and sugar and most plants. Eat mostly meat and animal products and you will be healthier.
Keto/Carniv9re is the way to go my triglycerides were 188 then dropped in 3 months down to 100 yes eating bacon butter hamburger chicken Eggs cheese every number went down dont knock it til you try it
i know they say cold turkey is best if you are addicted…but how? i've had food addiction for so long…i'd like to hear from others who have an addiction that have cut out processed food or sugar and been successful. how did you do it? how hard was it before it just became a normalcy for you?
Is nutritional yeast a processed food? If so, then why is it ok to eat it?
Watch the documentary called :
FAT FICTION
If anyone thinks that sugar is not dangerous to our health… Do more research.
Sugar is addictive and toxic. Sugar is fifty percent sucrose, and fifty percent fructose. Chemically, fructose is almost the same as alcohol. That is why both alcohol and fructose can only be metabolized by the liver. That is why adults and even children can get non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. The liver produces cholesterol. When we eat cholesterol, the liver reduces its production of cholesterol accordingly. But if you avoid eating cholesterol because you were advised to not eat it, and your liver is clogged up from cirrhosis, you will be deficient in cholesterol. The brain is composed of 75% cholesterol. All the nerves in our brain and the rest of our body have nerve connections that must be covered by the mylin sheath to prevent them from 'shorting out'. The mylin sheeth is composed of cholesterol also. So if you are deficient in cholesterol, guess what happens to all of the nerves and their connections… then you will eventually develop brain diseases like dementia, Alzheimer's, ALS, MS, schizophrenia, etc. Is it any wonder why there is an epidemic of brain diseases in our country? Not to mention, heart disease, diabetes, cancer, high blood pressure, obesity, etc, etc, etc. Sugar definitely causes chronic diseases and is so dangerous to our health that it needs to be regulated by the FDA the same as alcohol is. Eat lots of farm fresh eggs. The yolks are full of healthy cholesterol. But the yolk must be soft cooked or the cholesterol will be damaged.
Because people have been following the dietary recommendations given to us by the National Health Association…. which is totally wrong, we continually suffer from chronic diseases. Our bodies also need the healthy saturated fats that are stable and allow our bodies to build healthy membranes for all our cells and mitochondria. Eat butter, coconut oil, extra virgin olive oil, whipping cream, and avacados. Avoid seed oils and margarine like the plague. Avoid all processed food. ( If it was made in a PLANT… don't eat it. If it GROWS on a plant… eat it.)
Meat is the most nutrient-dense food available to us. It has everything that our bodies need. That's why people can easily survive on the carnivore diet and lose weight without even exercising. Eskimos had no chronic diseases before being introduced to standard American food. What does that tell you.
You can lead people to knowledge, but you can't make them think.
Comes across as an ad for veganism. And thats fine for some people. The low-fat high sugar diet is doing much more damage to people than meat and dairy.
Being vegan is the best thing. Knowing you can sleep and that you don't cause harm to animals. They are sentient beings just like us. Anyone thatnpays for meat, dairy, eggs is just as bad as murdering these animals. Once you make the connection its not hard. The problem with people is they want to make excuses. Animals aren't things they feel pain just like we do and they can feel happiness. You can eat healthier by keeping them off your plate. This documentary is proof along with what the health on Netflix. And then you are no longer an animal abuser. The way you treat animals is very telling if you are compassionate or not. You wouldn't eat your dog or cat. All animals have feelings.
Although I definitely believe this I would like someone to direct me to the evidence that milk causes cancer, iv tried to research this but there’s limited info/studies, I’m wondering where they got this from ?
