  1. I was born in 1954 and have always considered myself as American and I also have considered everyone in America whether born here or legally went through the process an American.

  2. You shouldn’t be called black either. It means legally dead. Our people change names and accept titles as their given. They won’t look to see who they really are.

  3. My significant other is a Kenyan born Naturalized American Citizen. African Blacks do indeed have a completely different Culture than American Blacks. Fortunately there's room in America for lots of different cultures if people can work on getting along and enjoy the differences instead of fighting over them.

  4. If whites are not called European-Americans, we shouldn't be called African-Americans. I think the term African-American is just an to escape the label of "black.". I am black, not African.

  5. The beast " man to man" has stolen so much from us and has affected us greatly.

I stand on the shoulders of African warriors that didn't take no shyt and loved me.

Black is a political word. You are a Moore but really you are just you when you were born. That's enough.

  6. Exactly I prefer to called black American it’s our lineage, they told Harold Washington to call us African Americans in the 80s verbiage counts when it’s time to cut the checks .

  7. According to Israel United in Christ (IUIC) Black people here in America are the Israelites the Bible speaks of. They also teach Jesus as looking like us, with hair like lambs wool and feet like brass burned in fire.

  8. I am not speaking down to our brothers and sisters around the world. I’m only stating that the American black culture influences the entire world not just the black cultures of the world. We were born here in America. We don’t know anything about AFRICA.

  9. We are so disconnected from the land….we hate to be associated to wht we are …AFRICAN…..a Chinese person says they are Chinese not Yellow….connected to China…the land…an Indian will say they are Indian not Brown or red….connecting them to the LAND India….we the only folk who call ourselves black…a color…what land is called black?…..another example of how our conquerors have conquered our MINDS..like Malcolm said. " They'll be building those gas ovens again"…I consider myself an American BORN 🤔 AFRICAN….1 PEOPLE. …1 MIND. ..1 LOVE ❤️…1 NATION ☺️…..1..
