It's like American history devoid of African-American history
“It's like American history devoid of African-American history”
For anyone trying to get a license to become a cosmetologist, natural hair is not mentioned in the textbooks. It’s like American history without African American history.

I love you!!! Thank you for the awesomeness and Education!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤
THE MOST VERSATILE. ❤❤❤ ⚜️⚜️⚜️
I hate the hair typing thing 3b, 3c. I find that the rules don't always apply, and I have 2 different hair textures, so it drives me nuts!
Andre Walker was Oprah's hairstylist for YEARS!
This is why we are the Mother and Father of Nations!
Black History in deed.
I Love Education!!! Especially when I am learning from someone who is passionate and authentic about the information they are distributing. Let's not forget how credit (cited sources) was given with gratitude. When you can break something down into digestible doses that have a lasting impact you certainly deserve your Teachers Applause 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾💗
They? We need to make our own coversation.
SO, now Black 🖤 Woman are not nm❤😂
I came to this conclusion in 99 and have been natural ever since. My mother was part of the first natural hair movement. I was educated by beauticians who would travel to the conventions to get educated and bring the knowledge back to us. I haven't had another one since they retired. Their expertise was unmatched.
I love that you are doing this!!✊🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾❤❤❤
YAY! The most versatile hair. Who would've known?? They who told us that our hair is not enough are liars! They wanted to take away our confidence and pride in our natural hair community, but thank the lord we know different. Imagine a educational system not addressing or omitting and not including ALL hair types??
Industry Icon❤
👇Those waiting for a punch line.

So kinky hair is now natural hair! 😂😂😂
Isn't he Oprah hair guy?
Thank you Mr. Dickey. I appreciate you.
If there’s no African American history in American history then it’s a work of fiction.
thks for this education series. keep them coming!
Yes it is OK cause we got ppl still brainwash and those who are not proud of what grows out of their head
i have a question- the AD wash and Go method requires you to wet your hair everyday in the shower. I have been doing research and they said doing this can cause hygral fatigue. Is this true ? How do we avoid this if we are wetting our hair everyday ?
Come on with the Golden Nuggets you had me at “Love what’s growing out of your head” 🌺🌸🌼 because it’s enough💕💕
❤❤❤
They as usual left us out of the conversation and from the table until yal came in and became the competition and truth tellers for us to become woke to our hair care because of yal we are set free. I love u Dickey thank you. Its emotional because we are enough.❤
Yes , Thank you ,
It's Okay .
Because we're not African Americans we did not grow up hearing nothing about Africa until we went to these concentration camps called schools we are indigenous to this land we are not African The only Africans here are the ones that came here much much later no slave trade they didn't have ships they had sailboats and people need to stop pushing that African American BS
Say it brother!!
I studied all these people when I first started taking care of natural hair in the 90s!
