  3. Why stop at the “that’s a good point?” He admitted to the underlying contention of their argument, there’s a clear double standard between the defense of Israeli statements compared to the attack on Palestinian rhetoric.

  4. Just finished the whole debate after watching it in parts for a whole week. Mouin and Norman dominated this debate with logic and facts. What a performance! It got heated at times but I am grateful for this debate because it provides clarity to many parroted talking points. It was also fascinating how the double standards of the other side was exposed. Thank you Lex for an eye opening debate.

  5. In the year 1947, Zionist gangs annihilated more than 530 Palestinian villages, and the Zionists used biological warfare, not to mention their massacres in the 1930s. This did not stop in the twenty-first century, and all of this was before the emergence of Hamas. What is the Palestinian response that these people want?

  6. Finkelstein is absolutely insufferable. This debate could have been much more productive if he took on the demeanour and exercised the humility that Rabbani has.

  7. At theend of the day the Jews are in Israel, they are not going anywhere and will defend themselves when needed. So stop pointing fingers as to who was there first. The only way there will be some sort of peace is that both sides need to accept that the other is not going anywhere, start the negotiations from there!.

  8. 3:25:30

Destiny: "We're not going to talk about how two consenting states engage in conflict, We're gonna talk about genocide."

Well…. yeah…? It's not a war when you refuse to recognize one side as a state?

  9. It really seemed as after the break the Israeli side (especially Benny) just ran out of energy..
And destiny left alone against those two held composure brilliantly but clearly less coherent.
Second half of the debate was 90% Palestinian side talking.

  10. if lex didn't exist democracy would already be dead thank you for engaging in conversation and doing such a great job a facilitating what are usually very important intellects from such different worlds to do the same.

  11. Forget the independent sources, forget law……what???? I’m shocked!!!! Who is this Person??? Who is even listening or reading His books??? I’m speechless… not in the good way ….
