  1. I found out through DNA that I'm Igbo by blood. After doing my research I'm proud to know my heritage and I can also say that there are so many natural traits that my family has on my Father side that reflect Igbo culture although we never knew until now. Thanks 23andMe for providing such valuable information. I also learned that I'm related to Pharaoh Ramses III who was a Hebrew ruler in Egypt. We are all E1B1A. SHEMITES.

  2. Nri is one word, not abriviation. its Nri kingdom. You should stress the letter N a bit and add the letters r and i, when you want to pronounce the word Nri. like: Nnnnri. middle tone for the nnn and straight down tone for the r and i. 😂. its quiet a difficult pronunciation even for Nigerians that are not from the igbo tribe

  3. Not only located in southeast, though the majority, 65 percent of Igbo people are located in the southeast while the remaining 35 percent are also located in southsouth of the country and as well Benue State which is located in the middle belt.

  4. U poorly represented Igbo ethnic group. U didn’t describe our features well. Some of those pictures have nothing to do with our ethnic group.
Features: it’s easy to single out igbos from the crowd in Nigeria. We come in different shades, we can be very light skinned with a reddish tint, that’s why the Europeans called us the red eboe, some with coloured eyes, we also have brown skins and also dark skins. Our men are very hairy likewise some of our women, we can have big foreheads too.
We cherish Education and very enterprising, good in spots .
We love our culture and usually marry within, some also marry out. We come from the south eastern part of Nigeria 🇳🇬 and about 30 million people

  5. Don’t forget they we’re also part of the kingdom of Judah, even the Europeans will never honor them or acknowledge them as having the kingdom of Judah there in west Africa, it also called Igbo land

  6. Free Mazi NNAMDI KALU, Free Biafra. Igbos are not Nigerians but Biafrans. Nigeria is a Zoo, a contraption. Disintegration of Nigeria is the way forward for the future there

  7. Industrious and strong. But with weird familly law. A widdow without male sons won´t inherit, rather a brother to the late husband will inherit. Is that correct or has my Izon friend lied? 🙂

  8. It’s not your hometown, you hateful goat! That’s Enugu, the capital of the old East Central State of Nigeria. Leave the Igbos alone , take hateful heart elsewhere.

  9. Yea. Drums and dancing. Colourful festivals etc. Great stuff. Now what about some work to feed the population. .There is a limit to how many dinghies can make the Channel crossing

  10. They are
    VERY ATTRACTIVE people!!

I would dare to say one the most attractive African tribes.

As a African American, I know that I have Ancestors from here, because I have a particular spiritual ability known as "Clair-Audience"
    Im always hearing Nigerian words,
Spoken to be loud and clear.
And it be SO INTERESTING when I look up the meanings of what they are saying to me!

It started a couple of years ago with me CLEARLY hearing the word "Igbo" while lying down, which I never heard no where in my life prior to that, also the word "Ewe" which is also a tribe and language from that region.
There are African Ancestors or spirit guides that walk with me from this region and Ghana
(Also ancient Black Jews that spoke Hebrew, Ancestors from India that spoke and wrote Sanskrit and North Africans that speak Arabic
All of them, are always saying names and words to me.
But The Arabic spirits talk the most though and lately the Hebrew ones a lot more often.
But conclusion is The African spirits that walk with me are Very powerful protectors.
I Learned this years ago from two advanced readers over the years.

I remember strangely trying not to cry when I would watch African dances when I was young, and felt so weird not understanding why, but now know what that meant

  11. 0:34 See, the language is pronounced the way our ethnic group is pronounced. You said it right that time the g is a diphtong as "gb". Igbo is pronounced as Ibo is written i.e. "eebo".
