  1. I just arrived in ramadan (tip โ€“ its a bit quiet and people are more religiously focussed so it feels calmer), and i watched many videos and had high anxiety flying in โ€“ which was actually very easy (AND I HAVE FACE TATTOOS!). Ok, it is egypt a culture ravaged by colonialism, war, religious tension and corruption. Mostly from the theft and political meddlings of our western leaders. So i feel that alot of these videos are americans who have this demand that everyone respect their rights wherever they go like they are in the USA (not accusing you at all as you have shown the beautiful side more). But others don't understand that their western freedom is built on the backs of exploitation of regions like this. And for them to exploit us as rich travellers, it is almost fair that we cop it, accept it and give back if we can. Yes, Egypt is cheap and many making channels want to keep costs down so they can keep their nomad lifestyle, but if people simply came to this country not expecting to get everything low prices and haggled and just made peace with some of the irritations and understand the deeper context, then i dont think people would have such negative experiences. My opinion is come to this country with an open mind, open heart and be present. You are not in the west, you are in a complex, difficult geo-political and cultural context that requires adaptation and lowering of western expectations and compassion for the people that this IS THEIR LIFE all day every day. Not only is Egypt facing political tensions on its own, it also faces the issues of the dam being built at the top of the nice in Ethiopia, which for a country like ethiopia is a gateway to self determination but threatens the crops and agriculture of Egypt. So just remember there is a bigger picture you don't see and just be kind, patient, no expectations, adaptable and even if having negative experiences, try and find a way to make human connection. Even if people want money, they are still human, they still have a heart. If you lose trust, then its you closing your heart consciously, not the other people. They are just testing it.

  2. I was there today. They increased prices in December and general entry is now 540 and Khufu is 900!!!!!! ( on top of general entry price, so you end up paying 1440!!!!!!)
It's not worth to spend over $20 just for Khufu, but if you desperately want to enter a piramide, go to Menkaure instead, which is now 220.

  3. I loved seeing the pyramids but the people were relentless. Shovinjng trinkets in your face, the scams, following you around and aggressiveness was exhausting. Donโ€™t let anyone take a photo of you unless you want to be ripped off. If you glance in someoneโ€™s direction theyโ€™ll want a tip ๐Ÿ˜‚

  4. The people who built the pyramids were enslaved and made to build the pyramids and forced to stone mason each brick further down the river at a stone yard thats why moses lead them out of captivity those pay rolls you talk about were for the egyptian guards who would whip and torture those people who worjed day in day out until they dropped of exhaustion starvation and dehydration โ€ฆ.dont piss on biblical truths just because you bilieve of artifacts of payrolls theres documentation on this view of mine also its called the bible exodus i bilieve โ€ฆ.what a foolish statement you made there bro

  8. Thank you so much for sharing these on Egypt. I am moving there soon and got totally freaked out by YouTubers saying how scary it was. After watching your videos, Iโ€™m totally pumped to go and your vids are so well done. Iโ€™m watching all of them. Thanks!

  9. I love your energy. Iโ€™m addicted to travel and your vlogs give me a fix now that i have a mortgage and know itll be a while before i can go explore again. ๐Ÿ˜ญ

  10. Great video. The only thing that was a little odd was that you diminished their food to American similarities, like cheeseburger and pot roast.Itโ€™s different and has a completely different flavours and spices and is centuries older than American foodโ€ฆ.so it stands aloneโ€ฆ.Did you not taste the flavours that completely distinguish it from other nationalities food?

  11. I stayed at that same hotel in 2021! That VIEWโ€” I was in disbelief! My room had a private balcony overlooking the pyramids, and I would sit there and stare out at history for hours! My friends thought I'd splurged on that room, but I'm pretty sure it cost only $34 USD per night.

  12. Wow so beautiful video of Egyptโค๏ธ we was last year there on vacation first time and i fall in love in Egypt and Egyptian people, i wish i could get a chance to live there forever โค๏ธ
