New OLED iPad and Pixel 8a!

Marques was out sick when we recorded, so Andrew and David take over the pod and talk about all of the newest gadgets that came out this week! They start with the new Nintendo Switch rumors before digging into the new iPads that were announced. Then they get into the Pixel 8a before we wrap it all up with trivia. It’s a surprisingly busy month…

  1. I hate how you guys keep saying no one needs this power but there are people who actually use it like me, of course this is only 1 percent of the market but at the same time not even 1 percent of people own iPad pros,

  2. 1:32:26 HOLD ON!! @WVFRM What about every microphone or speaker in the room? You know how microphones and speakers work I presume? Am I confused? I don’t think so but I’m open to being explained why I’m wrong, if I am of course. I don’t see what else you’d class. The magnets as, they are obviously electromagnets which reverse direction of the drivers of the speakers for example by alternating the current to different Amplitudes at various frequencies. The reverse is essentially the case for Microphones.

  3. Not sure if it’s Marques being out sick, but I found myself skipping around this episode a lot more than I ever do. Too many long, niche, tangents on audio that I don’t care about.

Also surprised at Andrews Apple apologetics being the never iPhone guy. Don’t defend Apples ahole money-grubbing decisions. All those choices are motivated by greed.

  4. I CANNOT tell you how much I adored the iPod nanos. I owned the 6th and 7th generation and I only switched the 7th because my 6th got stolen and my 7th stopped charging after a couple years. They were brilliant and the 7th even had Bluetooth! I still have it so maybe one of these days I'll get it repaired for some nostalgia.

  5. Andrew if you search in Google maps for breakfast, fast food, etc it will limit your search results. You just have to be more specific. Just fyi
