In south africa I call it Buswa or Bogobe in sepedi language.

In Zambia will eat it Zimbabwe Tanzania Mozambique South Africa Malawi Congo Botswana and so forth on is just a traditional meal
sorry woman we don't eat corn because we're struggling it's our traditional main meal in Africa or you eat it too though you're struggling it's a meal and it's still a meal from Generation to generation

In east africa is called Ugali/sima same thing across africa
In Burundi it is ubusima. We usually eat ubusima on weekends.

check the latin store for the finer corn meal. They might have it. Harina de maiz or even maizena harina fina de maiz.
