  1. they tried to make iOS usable with keyboard and trackpack (which obviously doesnt make a great OS for Work environment).
But they won't do a touchscreen on a Macbook, because macOS was designed to be used with a mouse and keyboard.. I dont know.. i think it would be easier to have macos running with a touchscreen.

  2. When you look at the footage of the new iPad in profile (eg 10:17), it appears warped. For example, it doesn’t lie flat on the table in the demo room when Marques is doodling.

  3. Apple didn’t move the pencil magnet to the other side so they could charge customers for the new “exclusive” pencil as an extra accessory. It’s deliberate not “common sense.”

  4. The oddly large radius corners are still outdated along with the bezel width. It still looks old but I guess that's not the point of owning tech such as this. Call me crazy, but I like it when new devices look fresh, updated and just plain cool.. I'll stick with my Surface Pro 9 for now which runs Windows 11 Pro flawlessly and with plenty of pep. Imagine that.

  5. “It’s still just an iPad.” Say it profoundly but it doesn’t add any imaginable amount of intellect to the statement. New laptops are, yes, still laptops. New desktops, you guessed it, still a desktop. Even your new wallet, still just a wallet, nothing that hasn’t been done by someone else. Those things remain what they are because they are useful as they are. So too, the iPad is useful to many as it is. Downplay the advancements as you’d like, but it does make it a new iPad, with new technology, in fact some not used elsewhere yet. The fact that it doesn’t fold or pick up a useless gimmick to morph unnecessarily, to this consumer, is a selling point. So, yes, still an iPad, but a more advanced, capable and easier to hold “still an iPad.” Yes, that Magic Keyboard is too pricey, yet I will still get out my wallet, not a Ridge though, mine is on my iPad.

  6. I totally get what you are saying with the “spec bump”… and that makes complete sense if you have the previous version.. but for me (and probably most people) I have an iPad that’s 6 or so years old and it’s a massive improvement. I feel that is Apple’s bread and butter, The periodical consumer. Not everyone can afford to buy the latest and greatest every time Apple drop a new device.

  7. Not true , they’re AMAZING for artists and graphic designers, nobody ever claimed they’re marketing it to programmer , although if you have half a brain you can do that too. They render fast , great for editing and you do that with the thinnest 13inch device .
