  1. The chef is very calm and shy. She must be noisy about her amazing cooking skills. She is not in control here. She is the boss in this video. She needs to do most of the talking not being led. The tomato is buried under under the kapenta to allow tomato flavour soak into the fish and maintain moisture. Wow!!! the wooden dishes are soooo natural, Afrikan, unique and amazing.

  2. Great show ladies. Love the cooking tutorials for Zambian traditional food. Just one request, can you please include information, maybe as text on the screen as you add ingredients or in the description below on the quantities of kapenta and other ingredients used as well as cooking times in between adding/mixing ingredients?

  3. I just discovered this channel!Excited! Subscribed before even watching…I was actually looking for a recipe to zhoosh up fresh kapenta. Thanks ladies

  4. Hey Lulu I really love your channel, it gives me good zambian vibes and being away from home it's good to see Zambian content that showcases our traditional dishes

  5. Yes Lulu, anchovies should be the term. I love kapenta and I love the kapenta by you two ladies. Will start including garlic in my kapenta too. I think the little well is to soften the tomatoes quickly so that they 'stew' on their own but with the kapenta on the sides. Then everything is folded together towards the end. This enables the kapenta to be juicy but not soggy, while maintaining some crispness. Some enjoy it that way.
