  1. This is such bad reporting. I live in George and almost 700 people have been working non stop on site. CNN you should be ashamed of yourself. No facts, only what looks to me like rigged footage. No footage of the back of the site where most work has been done at this stage.

  2. 💔👨‍👩‍👦‍👦😭💔👨‍👩‍👦‍👦😭💔👨‍👩‍👦‍👦😭💔👨‍👩‍👦‍👦no sense of urgency💔😭👨‍👩‍👦‍👦

  3. 11:07.
Has anyone considered requesting a "proto team" from one of the gold mines?
These teams are of the best in the world. They do rescue work in the underground workings of the mines, similar in many ways to George's situation.

  4. My thoughts exactly. Been watching this live for an hour and no movement/action on site – just hear chatting and laughing. Concerned for families of missing persons watching this.

  5. Can someone help us? they are forcing survivors not to say anything as well as workers, what do we do in such a situation? According to some of the workers that building was unstable when it was just 2 stories high at the time and staff did raise issues and whats worse is the contruction engineer was there but we dont know who he is still the work continued

  6. In the wake of the recent building collapse in our community, I understand the urgency and desire to help rescue those trapped under the rubble. However, it's crucial to emphasize the importance of a coordinated rescue operation rather than individual attempts to dig through the debris.

First and foremost, a coordinated rescue effort ensures the safety of both the victims and the rescuers. The structural integrity of the collapsed building is compromised, and any sudden movements or disturbances to the rubble can trigger further collapses, endangering everyone involved. Trained professionals equipped with specialized equipment and knowledge of structural engineering are essential to assess the stability of the site and determine the safest approach to rescue operations.

Moreover, a coordinated effort allows for the efficient allocation of resources and manpower. By centralizing communication and organizing teams, we can avoid duplication of efforts and ensure that every available resource is utilized effectively. This includes medical personnel, search and rescue teams, heavy machinery operators, and volunteers with specific skills relevant to the situation.

Additionaenables proper triage and prioritization of rescue efforts. Trained professionals can assess the situation, identify areas with the highest probability of finding survivors, and deploy resources accordingly. Time is of the essence in rescue operations, and a well-coordinated effort maximizes the chances of locating and extricating survivors in the shortest possible time.

I urge everyone in our community to refrain from individual rescue attempts and instead support the organized efforts led by emergency response teams. Your safety and the safety of those trapped under the rubble depend on a unified and coordinated approach to the rescue operation.

Let us stand together in solidarity and support the professionals who are working tirelessly to save lives and rebuild our community

    lly, a coordinated approach.

  7. This doesn't seems to be affective action, There seems to be no activity of removing ruble or digging tunnels are you waiting for the victims to die before you will go into action 😢 fear for those souls waiting for your rescue response

  8. The quiet, little activity and few rescue workers (200) for an emergency rescue operation of this size of a 5 storey build collapse are worrisome.(should be at least 1000 rescue workers)
The many piles of bricks, dirt and rubble around the site also could have been removed by now.
The pace looks incredible slow as if they're unsure what to do..Some rescue workers walking all over blocks of concrete, dirt and bricks instead of throwing or mowing it to a location to be moved out of way. This lethargic efforts are going to impact negatively on the de-layoring work😢.
