This news is nothing new, india has always been unsafe for woman. The husband is old and fraile looking so these criminals took advantage of that, if it were a stronger physically imposing man like my self that kickboxes then your less likely to be a target, I can keep my woman safe no problems. Very sad news especially for India as it does have so much to offer culturally but I will admit that the country needs to start educating its people on respect towards tourists if it want the world to come and India does need the tourism money. The constant touching haggling bothering approaching tourists must 🛑 India needs to get the message out to leave the tourist alone and let them enjoy their stay. The constant pestering from women and men is annoying add this issue of rape ‘lack of respect’ to India and unfortunately the world says, safer places with less haggling so I’ll go there instead. Wake up India before you drive all the tourists away 🙏 you do have a lot to offer culturally ❤
