  1. I actually understand, one stereotype in Kenya about people from TZ is based on the number of conmen and women from that country. We see the same trend with Nigerians and Congolese…….that's a fact and its going to take a long time before it ever changes

  2. It’s not easy,I hope the Kenyan government will look into that and help those women, despite identification I bet they are going thru physical, mental ,financial n verbal abuse from either their partners or residents or the police,,…Their need is urgent 🤔

  3. If these women live in fear of being deported, the television reporter should not be so stupid as to expose their full names and locality. It is absolutely wrong that they do not yet have Kenyan ID. It doesn't look like any of them are stealing jobs from Kenyans. The state should also be more flexible and find a way for these women to gain citizenship and ID given they have lived in Kenya for decades and have children who are Kenyan and born in Kenya. No need for formal marriage documents when Kenyan has long recognized traditional marriage. The state can be so annoying when they are so black and white about rules that their own officials clearly do not always follow. The lawyer being interviewed is the one who makes sense.

  4. Kenya should stop dislike other Africans . they preach African unity but they don't have any idea. P . Lumumba is working hard going places talking about togetherness is it a stupid idea ?. Zimbabweans( johane masowe) are there since 60s in Kenya they don't have documents . Mozambicans (makonde) are there and still no documents. Now these people again . what's wrong with you people
I respect Lumumba he should stand and talk about it .

  5. Wakenya ukiwaona wanavyolaumu Tanzania kwa kutowapa vibali japo hawako Tanzania kisheria utashangaa. Sasa hao watz walio kwenu kihalali na mumewanyima for decades je?

  6. I am not ignorant but sometimes is hard when u r being denied your identity. U call it home and still they r not eeager to gve u any identification cards. And you don't know much about your origin country.

  7. ID is a right for every human. Even traditional marriages count. ID card is not proof of citizenship. ID cards are for basic day to day living like registering for sim card, banking etc. Nothing to do with citizenship or 7 years. 7 years is also ridiculous as hell. They need a permanent residency until they can apply for citizenship. I am sorry a shithole is treating you badly.

  8. I am sorry. Marriage automatically allows you belonging. This is so silly especially for a country like Kenya. It's not like education is free, there is social welfare. This is dehumanisation. Everyone deserves the right to have an id. Waafrika tulirogwa. Nkt Ati 7 years to get an id? LMAO

  9. Hebrew Israelites were given special instructions on how to treat the stranger. Our moral code laws are derived from these, so whom are we serving today? Go ask somebody.
