  1. " OK! OK!, na ile ya Shakahola mbona bado kuishuhulikia na kutoa ripotti!! They´re about 500 souls who were deprived of their lives! Are they not kenyans? ruto ujue iko hukumu kutoka kwa "Mungu" aliye hai!!

  2. This is not on, people at Mathare, Githurai, kiambu, Athi, kirinyaga, Garissa ….and other flooded places in the country, have had to rescue themselves, with nothing to themselves other than bare hands and deep compassion for thy neighbour for days on end.

The Mai Mahiu response by Govt presence, raises eyebrows. Is it because it is a strategic economic corridor? In two consecutive days we have seen the D.President visit, followed by the President visit today, that has come with all manner of directives to activate duly needed support.

But are we saying some lives or maybe some locations are more deserving /privileged for govt support?😢
[ At this point I wish to note, that am in no way trying to minimize any one's loss, disruption, trauma, pian, tears and disappointment, or anxiety, Poleni Sana Wakenya 🇰🇪🫂]

The takeaway is, the govt's choice on where to be publicly seen as condoling and in touch with the people. Has been a SELECTIVE arrangement, causing unfair representation and invisibility of those affected but living in areas where the govt has shown no recognition.

The consequence of such an attitude intentional or unconscious, is down right immoral🤢
    And causing unethical double standard
