  1. What a wonderful documentary. We are in Cape Verde with our sailing vessel and we recognize the people, the atmosphere, the nature and the soul of the islands. At the same time, when I look at the images, there changed a lot in the last few years, . I think that the arrival of Western prosperity (together with plastic stuff and 'the need' for more and more) not always mean an improvement. Although tourists can provide opportunities to the residents and the islands. They also can 'kill' its nature and culture. I hope people will and can take care of their own heritage, now and in the future. I hope that the goverment will help her inhabitants to get a positive and sustainable future.

What a fantastic idea to give the people the photos you made! We love the way you both made contact with the people the way you did. A moving documentary that touch people.

  2. Thank you for taking that old man on a ride such a joy… Love cape Verde the people are blessed with happiness… Love from India❤

  3. By the laws enacted by these same people, if you forcefully acquire something that is not yours, you are labeled a thief and criminal, but in the same token when you forcefully and wrongfully imprison someone in chains, instead of calling them criminals, kidnappers, or thieves you call them 'owners'? Really? Is that how that works? Those involved in Colonialism are nothing more than wandering criminals trafficking humans out of sheer laziness to build their own world. Don't ever believe that a people are slaves and that it has owners. That is the mental dysfunction of gaslighting at its peak.
