It is true, no one wants to be taken advantage of or taken for granted. This means that we have to be people who mobilize and advocate for ourselves when we put people in power. We cannot take our eyes off of the prize. For example, the last thing a thoughtful woman would do before leaving a relationship with a man who has taken her for granted and didnt put in the work to go with another man who shows her security/money and did one or two kind things for her. She has to stop and look at the man's history because his morals, ethics and overall reputation in his community tell her that after the HONEYMOON PERIOD that man will go back to being who he is and her situation would be worse than the relationship she left. That doesnt mean that she should stay and accept what the previous partner gives her. That woman should get with her community, right herself and give her 1st partner the chance to get it right or she moves on to her own destiny. We should get out of the savior syndrome, people have tunnel vision and could be selfish.. People are people and the squeaky wheel gets the grease so we have to make sure that lower leaders chosen must represent us or be changed. A major election is not the time to sit it out or punish the one who did you no physical harm but just didnt add to your life. Careful people work with what they have , and make changes there or mobilize and change things. Politician are not saviors.

Wiping out college loan debt for Americans, lowering the costs to diabetes medication, getting to the lowest unemployment in this country's history, Setting in place an $8 maximum to credit card late fees instead of paying out in the 30's, and strengthening the funding to the pell grant system back to proper levels to aid students across this country to get a higher education. All has happened under Biden/Harris, all has helped Americans in this country.
